This doesn't wok no mo

Hey man I have a problem, so I have the entire thing done but when I go to export it to beamng the hidden body apears again. Do you have a solution for this?

i figured out how to do the mod, but for some reason the car is like jello whenever i spawn it in, can anyone tell me why that happens?

nvm i figured out what fixtures are, but how do you get rid of your chosen car and keep the f1 body?

i am new to automation, and for some reason i cant download the car, oh and also i don't know what the heck fixtures are, could someone help me?

If you wanna make the body invisible you can disable it with the menu on the right when you're placing fixtures, or go into paints and make the car invisible by painting all the panels with transparent paint

@TickleMyElmo so, you're supposed to make the body invisible and place it with 3d fixtures, use a 3.0-3.2M body for it, all of the fixtures are correctly sized so you won't need to size them unless you want to

@Swartkin thank you i found it but im confused how im supposed to use it lol, mostly new at this so i just attached it to a normall car but obv thats not intended lol

@TicleMyElmo the body itself isn't a body, it's a fixture located in the 3D tab

is there a body/chassis? i have the wings n bits but when tryna create a new car i dont see a body. just curious do i need to download it from somehwhere else or?

I think a big amount of people will stay on 4.24 due to big system requirements, like me. Just saying

@DRDOOMBTJ3 Wheelbase is 2.4M and the body is the concept art shown by FIA in early 2022

what body was the example made on and what specs are the wheelbase extentions?

this is what i needed for my f1 needs. great suff :)
also if i may: lots of stuff must be changed in the legal system in regards to intelectual property.for me, a common sense change for example would be that exclusive rights in a IP should be time limited (15 years max), and fan works should not be even talked or taken down as long as the fan work/mod/etc was not paid.

@PENTAKILL agree, and I'm pretty sure a LOT of paid mods in assetto Corsa per example are models ripped from another game, I am completely against paid mods, if you want to take commissions that's fine, but making the mod itself paid for everyone is stupid

the thing about sharing stuff is quite annoyng, because it was originally ment for things that were monetized and now if you make a completely credited free mod that is specifically about a brand's model's specific desing it can be taken down through legal means in case the brand chooses to do so. And the worst part is that somehow paid mods exist and get supported. I really hate how stupid the legal system can be. Awesome mod btw
