Pitfalls is a smaller version of Complex. It contains less areas but complex has all the areas pitfalls has.

It has to be possible to combine the maps, Gmod seriously needs an update that allows for that, Or tweaks the engine until it is not only possible, But gmod as a whole would be drastically improved.

Absolubtly peak. You capture the %1000 the aura of beign in the backrooms, I was always on edge thinking anything can jump on any second. Fantastic job!

Combining both maps would go beyond a boundary that the game won't allow it to compile or load the map.

This is definitely the best backrooms map out there! Although I don't understand why the rest of the A-sync facility is in its own map? Would be awesome to have both maps combined.

Yeah, in Hammer for the Source engine, maps are limited to a world space of 65,536 units in each dimension (−32,768 to +32,767). Any beyond that and the geometry and entities can break or disappear. The engine also has limits on the number of brushes, entities, and faces that always cause compile errors and instability when they are exeeded. Large and complex maps like these two are carefully optimized to stay within those constraints and combining them would just not work

@woootttt I doubt it, if the creator combines the maps, itll be extremely laggy due to the sheer size of both, I'm pretty sure that has already been asked before but I'm unsure.

Thanks, that is actually more fascinating. If walls like that exist, I wonder what their purposes are. I think it might be a fake wall you find in furniture stores or a wall you can see in some classrooms.

We see that wall in info video and briefly in motion detected, but it’s not there in other episodes like damage control so the most likely explanation is that the wall is movable (also it was shown being a sliding wall in one of Kane’s renders in his discord one time)

@schlimbodimblo what i mean is in backrooms found footage 2 the girl goes by three names Madison Jennifer or Janice she is a teen or in her early 20s and she was seen when she noclipped into the backrooms she wears a white jumper of sorts and tan pants and black shoes. i dont know anything else about her but there is fanart of her take a look at this then the link to what i mean is sent above

I wish there was a third map where it's basically JUST the facility, but only with the backrooms chamber (the wide area with plus-shaped pillars), so that, there could be an outside. Because, the outside of the facility looks very nice, and it'd juist be cool.
I don't expect Schlimbo to do that, because he deserves rest after everything he has done already

Will Schlimbo add the Earth noclip areas from the found footages? It would be more immersive as you are actually experiencing a fall into the Backrooms.

And by the way, Schlimbo. If it's possible, could you add destabilization and bonding of reality with the complex? Since the complex is canonly expanding, it's bonding with reality more and more, and destabilising.

@FireGamer1999 there's also alarms scattered all across the facility. to activate THOSE, you need to go to the security/camera room, and pull the "alarm" lever. Though, I'm pretty sure you know that already, so I apologize in advance :P

yeah this is easily the best Kane Pixels backrooms map, despite my general lothing for his series due to it making a lot of what i find to be un-needed changes to the backrooms lore, this is great shit, its liminal spaces at the end of the day, and i love me some liminal spaces

Which alarm? If your talking about info video you just need to flip the alarm switch in the observation room and then close the threshold barrier
