Zaap - you are very patient, but honestly some of these questions are the "are you high" kind of quality, lol. Keep working on the mod, its great! Sure beats all the retreads of other game content you usually see. "HURR I IMPORTED < DIS GAME WEAPON > INTO TD LOLOL". So original... (nope)
After commenting out all instances if any raycast function, and replacing the expected return values with default ones, i realised that the framerate was still affected. I will try to find the cause of this but its 100% not the raycasts affecting the framerate.
1. Go into the menu (press 'V').
2. Click the "Export" button.
3. Wait the movie finish to play then press "Escape" to stop the record.
4. Go to the directory by default User/Documents/Teardown/Movie
5. Eventually remove the last frames if you pressed "Escape" too late.
6. Follow the Teardown indications to download ffmpeg and to use it.
7. Enjoy.
