Badge, PDA, even a belt buckle would fit better. This is similar to the Texas Toast, random appliance on head. It's not something people normally like to wear on a loadout.

I appreciate it. We toyed around with doing a backpack and pocket versions. We may or may not release them, depending on if people want them/we have time.

Outdated references aside, I think this could've worked if it wasn't just haphazardly placed onto the engineers head. As of now, it just looks out of place and really bulky, and I couldn't see it fitting into good looking outfits. If it was lower down on engineers head, like the beep man, or pinned to his chest like a badge, I could maybe see it working out. Hell, you could probably get away with making it a pair of goggles, like that one cyborg cosmetic medic got.

i appreciate the work you've put in creating this (and this hat is obviously well made), but you all need to understand that memes get old eventually. no one wears a dancing doe now, for example.

Hell, you could've made it styled like a mining helmet, only instead of a lamp it's the TV. That'd even work with a whole crypto mining angle.

References aside, a TV hat genuinely isn't a bad idea for Engie, and this was executed pretty well... I just wish it wasn't perched so high up on his head. Makes it go from an accessory that works with other cosmetics to a centrepiece you have to base everything around. Would've much preferred if it was closer to a helmet with a built-in TV, then just a TV nailed to a plank and strapped to your head.
