i would do it in an hour or 2, it should work after that
And keep in mind i do all this for free. I use this mod myself everyday and i just wanted to share it with the community

Sucks alot as I use a ton of different reskins.
Maybe it is not even a mod, but the main game. Every patch it seems there are more problems introduced than old ones being fixed. When I encounter a situation which gives more insightful Information, whether it points out your mod as a factor or dispproves this assumption, I'll drop a short comment.
Used your mod for years, never had issues. It was just an idea that made more sense than other ones on first sight. Your mod is mandatory like a baseline feature the game should have had when it was released. Cannot understand how they could release it without LOD settings or why your mod is not more popular than it already is. Thanks for your time,mate!
Are you using other mods ?
I suggest you run a file check on the game and see if it fixes your issue (right click on the game in your library -> Properties-> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files)
I used this mod for years and the problem only began sporadically in the last days during unit testing and while using Unit Camera on Jezzails, but maybe that is just coincidence.

ps. I encountered some CTD in last days during skirmishes, when using the Unit Camera. It always froze when pressed it again in order to zoom out into normal view. Do you believe your mod could have something to do with that?

We could control it in Warhammer 2, but sadly we can't anymore in Warhammer 3
In warhammer 2 i just went to db/battle_entities_tables and i changed the column named something like "anim lod" (it's one of the last column)
It is working like a multiplier for the distance at which units will use their frozen animation
It was working fine in wharammer 2, but in wharammer 3 the column still exists but it seems like it has no effect at all
I saw you mentioned a while back that you had a way of fixing the "frozen idle animation at a distance" in wh2, and that method didn't work for wh3.
I'd really appreciate if you can help me start my search in the files in order to try and fix it.
I find it jarring that idle animations are static after a certain distance, and I believe those of us with powerful computers deserve to have the option to toggle them on.
but it has been years since I dabbled in editing CA's files so any guidance will be much appreciated.
i will maybe create some submods to make them compatible in the future
You can try my extreme lod remover that is working like the lod remover from hooveric but with higher values
