@TurtleShroom: Yes, Carnalitas is actually quite an extensive framework that makes things much easier for modders. It adds a lot of on_action-s and events that make it easier to add traits or other stuff to characters when they are generated. The two submods - Carnalitas Dei and Carnalitas Mundi - add new cultural traditions and religious tenets/doctrines that I expand upon in this mod.
Plus, Carnalitas also overwrites some vanilla stuff, due to the cultural traditions, and it is somewhat convenient for me.

Well, at least you decided based on pragmatism and not degeneracy. I can understand why you doing something that saves your time and a whole lot of effort.

Last comment regarding the annoyance with Carnalitas:
One way or another, I am forced to pick sides, pick between two camps.
Consistently trying copying in everything from Carnalitas and painstakingly removing all the porn is not only tiresome and something I can no longer be bothered to do, but it would also screw over those who DO bother to download Carnalitas.
And I for one side with those who DO bother to download Carnalitas instead of taking any issues with it.

I'll be honest, how exactly is a list of my emperor's fetishes useful? Even in the stripped version that entry was still there. It was bizarre.

@TurtleShroom: Carnalitas is actually a pretty tame mod, and by default, it won't even make your characters nude when they are doing.... ahem, that thing. It will show you the two characters, and give you some text. That's it. It would be great, if Steam Workshop allowed that mod to be here, but oh well. It just adds so many convenient stuff, that I cannot not make it a dependency of my mod. It also builds on some of the content added by those two submods. Is it a hassle? Yes, it is. But that's just life. There are plenty of mods outside the Steam Workshop, and it will always be a hassle to update them.
As for Han Chinese characters being nude - Sadly, some of the Chinese clothes are broken, and I am still working on fixing them. If I can't fix it by next week, I might just have to remove them and make the Chinese wear Steppe clothes like in vanilla. I hope it won't come to that.

Ah yes, forcing people to leave the workshop, go to a porn site, download a porn Mod, and have that porn on the computer, even if sex scenes are turned off, are a hassle even for those that don't mind it.

1. This mod should be renamed, because at this point, - hell, even before I first uploaded it to Steam Workshop - the name simply no longer does justice to the enlarged scope of this mod. While yes, initially, it was about adding Far Eastern Cultures and Religions to the game (mostly so I could add my Japanese friends into the game in another mod), at this point, it is anything but.
2. Bad news for porn-haters: I won't be bothering to copy-paste stuff from Carnalitas anymore and remove the porny parts. You gonna have to download Carnalitas and disable sex scenes with the game rules.

For some reason, ever since installing this Mod, nudity has not only been re-enabled, but all Han Chinamen and some Indian characters are naked, with visible privates. I disabled frontal nudity in the settings and I am still getting flashed. In the case of the former, they DO spawn with their hats, but nothing else besides that and (in the main menu) what looks like glitched spandex. A few Indian women were even worse. They were completely bald AND naked, and not every Indian was in that unfortunate situation.

Am I facing a Mod conflict here?

To be fair, Carnalitas itself is perfectly playable on 1.6, but yeah, Carnalitas Dei is incompatible on its own - the LL version of this mod however overwrites the parts that are incompatible with 1.6 ;)

My main issue with the other sites mod was I don't believe non workshop material should be required to play workshop material. Glad you separated it.
Being said, I am 100% with pornographic mods and if that was on workshop, I'd be fine with it being required(Plenty of mods require other mods in workshop.

Good news for both of you: I have received permission from Cheri - the author of Carnalitas - to incorporate it into my mod, so long as I cred her. Stay tuned for a new version that won't have a dependency on Carnalitas.

It needs a LoversLab mod because it relies on events, on-actions and certain religious doctrines from it. I will need to ask for permission from Cheri if I want to incorporate those into the non-LoversLab version, but that will still involve me painstakingly removing stuff.
