Are you using any other mods right now that modify ship sections. Last I checked, all ship sections work fine with my sets.

I'm unsure if they actually do or if my game was just fucking me over, but I found that the Sith Empire shipset breaks X slots, meaning I can't use spinal mount on my battleships (as in, it just doesn't appear in the ship designer after I research the techs). Don't know if the other shipsets have this problem but I thought I'd leave this here anyway.

Is there a way to change the skins of Cosmogenesis ships (and/or bioships) to look like the MC80 Star Cruiser and such?

Make sure this mod is updated on your end, Steam is very inconsistent with applying mod updates to Stellaris. This is not the case on my end.

This shipset is set as biological and there fore un buildable in 4.0

That's okay, thanks for trying, I'm gonna try a texture on a model from a different mod, see if it's just the mod itself not accepting the new textures

its an mc-30 from rebel ships maintained, as far as i know it should work there too, unless theres something i'm missing, theres only one diffuse for the model and that from my research is the only file i need to edit, im just changing red to blue lol

I mean, so long as it is a dds file, the appearance of the image doesn't matter. I have even used dds. files with the same name to for overwriting in the empire color support patches for some of my sets (like the republic ships for example) and those all work as intended. What specific model are you trying to apply a re-texture for? Is it something from one of my sets?

Seems like you are doing everything right, so long as it's the same exact name as the original texture it should overwrite it. Not sure what else I would recommend looking at unfortunately.

absolutely ,its dds, ive renamed the new texture the same as the original, and its in the right spot too, somehow its still loading the old one or i somehow didnt change the color

First and foremost are you using a .dds file for you texture? This is what is used for all textures in Stellaris.

I don't know if there are any working guides out there, I personally remember spending weeks trying to figure it all out on my own. What I can tell you is that I use the PDX Blender tools to create my mesh files and I know that they are readily available on GitHub.

He has already updated this to 3.14 and does not update it every single patch, only major updates. Next update is 3.15 and not before it comes out.

For those having issues with custom AI Empires using these ship sets not spawning in your games, even with the 'always spawn' option set, I figured out the issue. For whatever reason, the "Random Unary I" starting system option prevents them from spawning. Simply change this back to "Random" and they will show up. I'm not sure if any other starting system type also affects this, but I've had success with it just being 'Random'. I'm re-posting this on all of these Star Wars ship set pages since I've seen others with this issue. (Note that I had no other mods on except these ship sets).

Zann Consortium is kinda in the works right now though I am not actively in the Stellaris mood at the moment (I am too annoyed with the amount of visual bugs the Paradox devs have left in the basegame right now). I still want to get that set out within the next month or so.

Surprise Update!
After reading some of the comments across my mods, I have decided that there is no more excuse for delaying adding Rouge One ships as they are easily available. The Sphyrna Corvette and MC75 Profundity have been added to this set.

Even more of a big one for both the Empire and Rebel sets specifically. Like all my other Star Wars sets there is now an optional edict that has been added to enable more models to be used which means the roster has been shifted around a bit. I also want to add that you may have noticed that I have now began to support megastructures starting with the Mega Shipyard. There will be much more of those (and even support for some Gigastructures) coming eventually.

Nothing I can do about that, the ship spacing is an issue with all shipsets but it is simply more noticeable with ships from popular franchises like Star Wars. This is why I recommended the Fleet Formation mod because I really don't want to downsize the ships in this set any further.

Well, to be more specific, I was considering turning this set into the Legends set with that other future set I mentioned being the canon set. But if I do end up changing my mind about this then I will for sure bring the MC75 to this set.

I think MC75 would better fit the Rebel battleship lorewise, given their role in the Rogue One, and Nebula is New Republic ship (I mean the real one not the disney knockoff)

Instead of the MC75? I have plans for including that ship in a combined Canon Rebel and Resistance set later down the line. I admit, I could actually add the MC75 right now if I really wanted to but I don't necessarily feel like I need to with the plans I have for the future.

lol... it seems like everyone has been asking me this
All I can say is maybe, I personally don't really take any interest in weapons mods beyond "Extra Ship Components Next" and I also am quite busy IRL over the next month or two which could complicate getting anything done. Yet obviously, I know people want it done. All I can say is maybe.

question... do you think you might be able to look into getting permission to update and maintain the Star Wars Weapons mod? love this mod and the turbolasers would go a long way toward improving it!
