Which Africans? There's more than one ethnic group in Africa. The paradox devs don't get it right either with the amount of black people in North Africa.
for some reason a lot of npcs start bald and in loinclothes.
When i went in to see with barbershop what hairstyle is broken etc i see that they all have the slots unequipped ! all hairstyles and clothes are working when i change them manually in barbershop.
Why do so many start with emptied slots and how can i fix it ?

The Tocharians often had ginger hair (maybe blonde too, as they're almost genetically the same), as evidenced by the mummies left behind in the Tarim basin. Their material culture was very similar to ones found in Eastern Europe, though likely influenced by their surroundings. What I see from the picture though is mostly dark haired Tocharians and 1 blonde one, which I suppose is still more accurate then the full on middle eastern appearance in vanilla. I think this is because of how isolated from the rest of the world the Tocharians were, mostly associating with Scythian related groups and only having to rely on the Silk road for their economy, as well as China for military protection.
Also the Finnic cultures still look Asiatic to me. The Ck3 devs sure don't like white people residing anywhere along the fringes, do they?
The Finno-Ugrics neighboured the Indo-European and Corded Ware cultures for thousands of years.
It was even said that the corded ware got their blonde hair from mixing with the Ostyaks, so it's pretty surprising that people just presume the Finno-Ugrics were Asiatic when if that was true, the Finns would look this way to this day due to darker genes being dominant.
In fact, I'd said it was more likely through mixing with Turko-Mongolic groups that the Ugric people now look half Asiatic.
Yeah the Scythian didn’t just disappear, and the turkic tribes were more of a cultural thing rather then ethnic. Western turkics looked like western eurasians and eastern turkics looked like East Asians. The cumans, due to their geographical location, no doubt incorporated many scythian tribes. Even the Scythians themselves have high genetic variation, eastern sctthians were Asian and western were Europeans with blonde hair and blue eyes in many cases.
But I pretty much stopped updating the compatches anyway. Keeping up with all the new cultures those mods add has become unsustainable for me to do alone, and no one bothered to volunteer to help.
Here's a modern picture of a Bulgarian Cuman that still somewhat resembles the phenotype https://i.pinimg.com/originals/59/1f/16/591f16bbcf53b63204be2d6100282a9f.jpg
Take this blank map, and mark the given ethnic group with yellow pixels (RGB: 255, 255, 0) where it is present: https://i.imgur.com/bq6Z2Xe.png
Create one such map for each of the missing cultures.
Now you can see why it's a bit of a hefty task for me. But if the community is willing to have it outsourced to them, that'll be great.
