how dwo i add this shi to my build
thatcoolcat1  [author] 11 Aug, 2023 @ 6:28pm
i mean just look at the function it uses
thatcoolcat1  [author] 11 Aug, 2023 @ 6:28pm
more derivatives of the seeker output
Darkness 11 Aug, 2023 @ 6:27pm
so how do they differ?
Darkness 11 Aug, 2023 @ 6:27pm
ZEMMEPN*
thatcoolcat1  [author] 11 Aug, 2023 @ 6:26pm
its just alot of derivatives of motion, the microcontroller in this thing is old junk, idek how it hits targets.
Darkness 11 Aug, 2023 @ 6:25pm
i decided to look into the microcontroller, wtf is ZIMMEPN guidence
thatcoolcat1  [author] 2 Jun, 2023 @ 8:23am
thats for other missiles that utilize extra fins that can control roll
The Last Hope 2 Jun, 2023 @ 1:09am
what does the rolling airframe system setting do/ does this just mean the missile will spin while flying to the target and will it vary the accuracy?
thatcoolcat1  [author] 25 Apr, 2023 @ 3:53pm
yes, if done correctly. you have to have the actual positional data of the target to do it tho.
Ham 25 Apr, 2023 @ 3:52pm
Hmm. I was wondering, does EPN or similar things actually work in this game? I've been trying for a while now to get one on a missile but can't seem to.
thatcoolcat1  [author] 25 Apr, 2023 @ 3:45pm
on the one hand, this mc is actually trash and only later did i realize you cant magically make EPN from the ingame radar output

on the other hand, the fractions for the different guidance modes are just derived from basic 1d motion equations.

the 3.9264387263 or whatever for the nav constant was just a theory that the reason nav constant of 3 is so good is because it was close to the conversion between ft/s and m/s. lol.
Ham 25 Apr, 2023 @ 3:04pm
I've got a question. So, I looked at the mc for this missile out of curiosity, and was wondering; how do you even get numbers this specific for some of it?
thatcoolcat1  [author] 8 Jan, 2023 @ 9:01am
just copy the radar
C0R1NTH 8 Jan, 2023 @ 8:58am
Is it possible to turn the seeker on early and get a tone when it has a target lock? Or would I need to copy the radar and put it on the front of the aircraft to search for close targets?
thatcoolcat1  [author] 7 Jan, 2023 @ 3:50pm
make sure not to rotate the whole missile, only the hardpoint component
if its still happening, orienting it upward in the editor will also cause random issues.
Stank 7 Jan, 2023 @ 3:44pm
I have an issue when used on my ship, the missile will veer harshly to the right straight after launch, I don't have the same symptoms with my land vehicles using the same missiles and launcher.
MrMereScratch 4 Dec, 2022 @ 4:05pm
Alright
thatcoolcat1  [author] 4 Dec, 2022 @ 3:52pm
just remember to trim it out when ur done
theres two rocket motors as well, one is on max burn rate, leave it as that so that the rocket accelerates as fast as possible
MrMereScratch 4 Dec, 2022 @ 3:32pm
Alright
thatcoolcat1  [author] 4 Dec, 2022 @ 3:24pm
you can just mess with the rocket burn rate like normal to get slower speed
MrMereScratch 4 Dec, 2022 @ 11:52am
Where in the XML files can I slow down the speed of the rocket? I made an unguided WWII-era HVAR rocket with this but it goes too fast to properly detonate with terrain and tanks.

Thanks :)
thatcoolcat1  [author] 13 Aug, 2022 @ 3:34pm
yeah
Danny 13 Aug, 2022 @ 2:02pm
I have a modified plane that I would like to upload that uses this. Can I upload it?
thatcoolcat1  [author] 29 Jun, 2022 @ 2:44pm
it seems comments were hidden, along with alot of other workshop posts today. seems to be no pattern, newquay, skytech, nntc all affected, as well as random builders.
thatcoolcat1  [author] 28 Jun, 2022 @ 1:45pm
No, the electron is like an aim-9L. The L model is all aspect, something which this missile cannot do. The title of this page alludes to this being similar to the FIM-92 ATAS.
Apple 28 Jun, 2022 @ 12:48pm
nice
Apple 28 Jun, 2022 @ 12:48pm
so you have pretty much made a aim9l
thatcoolcat1  [author] 28 Jun, 2022 @ 9:50am
The micro is intentionally not invisified as it allows us to vary the colors of the missile and make it visually interesting, while also giving us the aerodynamic surface that exists on the bottom of the microcontroller. Because of this surface, we can make the missile very stable.
August 28 Jun, 2022 @ 8:28am
I bet you could make the micro in the booster invisible by setting it's height to 0 in the xml. Should still work and would improve the look of the missile.
misteriora 28 Jun, 2022 @ 8:21am
i love it and its pretty accurate
thatcoolcat1  [author] 27 Jun, 2022 @ 2:26pm
xml edited booster yes
puipuix 27 Jun, 2022 @ 1:05pm
The aswner was yes and it's weird
puipuix 27 Jun, 2022 @ 12:54pm
Does it use glitch to get that fast ?
Smooth 26 Jun, 2022 @ 10:40pm
Great
Spectrolosus 26 Jun, 2022 @ 4:21pm
ooooooo yeahhhhh, anotha one
