Thanks for this. The joke was just barely funny when it very first happened. And it has long since lost any charm through overuse.

Is there a mod like this that only lowers the chances of Gandhi getting nuke-happy, rather than eliminating it outright? I'd like it to happen with like, a 10% frequency, so it's still possible, just far less likely.

it actually depends on how much of a warmongering dick the player is as he goes ape the more warmongery people get which eventually can push him over the edge late game thus we get what the elder scrolls fortold, the day of reconing the day when Ghandi eats the world! oooops wrong game lol but it works i guess.

still as i laregly play as a conquering hellbeast i find that the AI wont nuke unless your a grand master in dickheadology and your knocking cities over left right and center late game.

i believe the new greviance system makes it more likely as the ai might get neg points with them the higher the levels the worse it gets and the more likely the AI is to going full on putin!

Gandhi getting the nuke happy agenda is ok; I don't think I've ever seen AI use nukes at all. The fact that he has a 70% chance of getting it is the issue.

lol i get it pal.......cheer up maybe instead of scouts you invest in the more aggressive form of the scout in the early game known as the warrior they are cheap and surprisingly effective against ghandi early game wipe ghandi out early game and no nukes! its kinda a meta strat to do in most civ games. hell if you start near him then the god, sid meyer blessed you with fortune and smiled upon you.

i never saw the point of declawing ghandi in civ games as a majority of the community is beloved of this insane bug that i witnessed back in civ 1 :S yes i was an unfortunate victim of the civ 1 ghandi storm lol technically i was scrapping his empire into dust so maybe i deserved it?

anyway this really is a mod only a niche few will probably use and i get how you feel pal i honestly do literally been on the buisness end of nuke ghandi the irrational for over a decade yet i personally laugh it off.

This is not a meme, it was a bug in earlier versions of the CIV (we are talking Civ 3, I believe). So nuclear Gandhi is canon and you can't do anything about it
