I commented on KIAs videos on his YT vids a few times and then caught him on discord or somewhere. We talked about the mod, he was very open to listening to suggestions and polite about it.
He mentioned story chapters past getting lev 10 in job classes. He wanted missions, like go fetch X amount of X items and turn in that you could complete for ISI for UP points or credits.
I talked with him about finding an old space battle field with less loose random parts and more ship wrecks that were missing key components. Maybe maybe not part of any story line but something to satisfy the people that like to repair ships.
He was receptive to the idea, but told me about having so much on his plate at the time. New job, moving, I think he said a new baby and his computer was giving him some difficulty also. A lot going on.
Lord thou Knowest!
Igor! another 10,000 volts its twitching!!!
if anyone is still subscribed here SSR is coming along.. Be nice if KIADM could pass his notes on; but I'd settle for knowing he was still with us generally! Named a new Planet for him. Until you dig in the code you can't know how big he was planning I estimate over 80% of his sketched out road map (no more than a hand full of lines here and there - but the intent is clear) was ever released!

Empyrion - Galactic Survival xD
I really love this game and this mod too. I spent a lot of time in it, so I know what I'm talking about.
I would be very happy if the Eleon were really developing the game, but ...
And it's really sad
And in general, all mods on vanilla are useless, because the developer stopped developing game content 5 years ago. All additions to the game, like adding 1 decor per year, adding a new gun skin once every 2 years....
If you make mods, then:
- help develop RE 2
- make mods based on RE/RE 2 like ATLANTIS
The community activity is the only reason the game is still alive.
Even if you choose another profession you can still keep leveling up your past professions for a few more quests till you hit a dead end that will be fixed in the next update.
The guy for buying professions works, just not much else at the Salvage HQ does yet, it was all parts of the next stage of story line. Quest givers and the like are currently dead ends.
If as you said make sure to give him all the credit due as the mod creator and as long as somebody didn't change the direction too much that he had planned for the mod, I doubt he would be upset if somebody at least just updated the mod to the current version of Empyrion. In the end that would actually be saving him some time if he is able to come back and may be grateful for the assist.
