I added new heroes from VikesRule's mod without changing their logic. So it's possible they have some errors.
About difficulty... I just finished the Urban Renewal quest. I have tested almost all quests and they are all doable. Some require more tries than 1 but that was the same with vanilla Majesty. Monster levels from 1-5 do almost nothing to the monster. So the first 5-10 days are almost the same as vanilla.
Generally, the mod does make some things harder but it also empower heroes to counter stronger monsters.

About the scrolling issue. Could you elaborate when did you encounter crash? When you were moving map from minimap all around?
I've extensively tested the mod and pretty sure that it's crash free apart from cases when some people use it with other mods or launching quests from minimap, or using AI in Freestyle.

About mod More Decorative Buildings, there is a list of what they do in the changelog:

Russian Roulette - 50% to lose all gold or get lotsa gold
Elven_Hideout - move speed+
archaic tomb - willpower +1

I'd love to see some of the shelved content accessible through add-ons reworked to be usable by default. The minstrel doesn't gain exp and just dies to one hit, and the necromancer attacks in melee, which resulted in it simply dying without contibutinh more often than not.

Final note, the game still crashed for me when playing on a huge map. Scrolling too fast seemed to overwhelm the game engine.

Is there somewhere that explains what the decor buildings do? It seems they all have bonuses. Do they spawn monsters? I ended up with a bunch of shadow beasts once, and a bunch of rats and spiders another time, and I'm still not sure where they spawned from

Side note: played for 10 hours. It certainly feels like the monster autoleveling changes how everything has to be approached. The mausoleum is necessary to get heroes strong enough to make progress on maps, and even then, heroes drop like flies. The worst time was playing Urban Renewal and automatically losing five seconds after placing an attack flag because the goblins were so high level that my weak characters couldn't do a thing.

does this not work with the "big map" and the "huge map"? i add majesty expanded to the list at the bottom and on top of it i add 1 enemy AI and when i launch the big map the AI doesn't spawn, i watched the youtube video about editing maps but aren't those maps designed to work with the AI already and if not then where can i find them to edit them because i their not in the quest folder.

Certain things break if you for example:
- Not follow mod activation order and activate external mod AFTER activating Majesty Expanded. That will surely break things.
- Run vanilla quest directly from map. That's not gonna work as well. Need to run it from downloaded quest section.

If you read the important section from mod documentation, preview screenshots and still getting errors then feel free to give feedback. I will do a recheck. But I'm pretty sure that everything is stable, haven't updated mod for a while.

Sorry for annoying hindrances. It is just how it works for this game. I'd made it easier to use mod if I could.

Mod just got an update which fixes most issues with balance. If you feel like revisiting Majesty I encourage you to try out AI battles. Massive hero battles feel very good.

This is the instruction to play Majesty Expanded mod in multiplayer. All players must replace original game files in order for this to work.
This version doesn't contain game modifiers though, only Majesty Expanded mod.

If you're talking about buildings from mod "more buidlgins / more heroes" you can enable them using Game modifiers.
In the menu enable "Majesty expanded" mod then "Game modifier -1". In the quest in the building list there will be game modifiers. The one you want is under number 29 "Enable buildings from MHMB". After that new buildings will become available and game modifiers will disappear from building list. No need for build anything cheat

You can disable monsters leveling using Game Modifier. The vanilla quests are also luck dependant, mostly due to how random fight goes. Hit or miss. There is no way anyone could accomplish all vanilla quests on the first try. With Majesty Expanded it's the same. Might take a few tries or a new approach. Whether to adjust difficulty with Game Modifiers either way is your choice.

The difficulty is out of control, monsters level up way too fast and become harder than bosses. During Scions of Chaos one Thick-skinned vampire wiped out everyone and random monsters destroyed the outpost. L mod

I try to keep things relatevily easy to debug and provide new content that simply "bend" a little vanilla gameplay. I could make all heroes join parties cuz that's the "true RPG" way, right? So they could obliterate everything. So I left it as a nice to have: 1 party per quest. (Or with GM you can have as many as you want.)
Honestly, I can't think of anything else to add. We have parties, some new units, new spells, progressive leveling, pets, world events, bots, some sort of drop system, other stuff.
What mod misses is not kiting but more quests that could fully implement Expanded mod functionality.

What I mean is that it doesn't fit the in-game logic. Kiting is everywhere in other RPGs, that's true. But Majesty isn't RPG-like. At least not as modern.
Heroes can parry and absorb. Kiting wasn't needed in the first place. That's the way Majesty was done. The way I see it is:

- either don't change drastically the way it is OR

- give ALL heroes RPG-like "smart" actions. Ranged - kite, melee - roll, magic - attack from invisibility etc. Then make massive rebalance cause a single ranger now can kill a golem. It all sounds good but it's just not worth it: old game engine has many restrictions. It's what killed Majestic Majesty mod. It is much more sophisticated than mine but it became too difficult and time-consuming to rid of bugs and make changes.

what do you mean its too op, that doesnt make any sense, the ranged units arent meant to take hits, and they go in by themselves and die instantly, some sort of modification to their ai would make sense

The original quests are compatible. You just need to launch them from the downloaded quests section which is located in the top left corner on the world map

The game crashes when I run the mod Majesty Expanded 1.50 with any of the original quests on the main map. Are the original quests not compatible with the mod?

I just want to say thanks Enerril for the creation and continued support for this great mod, it really makes majesty fun to play even more. And i'm even more amazed from the performance enhancements you made to the game, before when I used the enchanced lairs mod with many monsters and heroes, the units in the game were slowly getting more unresponsive the longer I played and more entites were on the map in game. Now it seems that I no longer have this problem with this mod, many thanks!

There's no clear list of what's been changed in the new game+ mod. So I can't tell 100% whether mods are compatible or not. Most likely not. However, if you activate New game+ mod and AFTER THAT activate ME, then perhaps some features from new game+ become available without breaking the game.

About earthquake... It really can get annoying with AIs chain-casting it and perma-shaking screen. But it is rare. AI have longer cd of using it than the spell cd, proc based. The offensive of that spell is irreplaceable.. I'll tweak something about that

It comes with this mod. After you choose mods, go on to the game map with quests. In the top left corner there's icon for downloaded quests. There are custom Majesty quests. There you will find Big Map

AI mod doesn't work in Freestyle. If you want to play with AI and events then:

1) Activate ME mod, AI mod variant, Game Modifiers.
2) Start quest Big Map
3) Build any GM you want. These replace freestyle events
4) Play
