I noticed only one thing you overlooked. In the message that describes your mission when you choose it in scenario folder, there were some symbols that were meant to change the appearance of headlines. Such as
,
, etc. They were not working properly and were visible. But that’s not a big deal.
And one little moment. A couple of saves happened in quite awkward moments. For example, when I was aiming at someone. Maybe it could be fixed by adding some delay after conditions for the save game are met.
Anyway, I really enjoyed your mission! I wish you a lot of fun times in editor and in real life! Good luck!
I don’t play a lot of missions these days, mostly mess around in editor so my skills are quite low.
I think that it is your description that really made me want to try out your scenario. That good old feel of Operation Flashpoint. "Simple" infantry mission: just go there and take the town from the "bad guys".
I really liked briefing you’ve made. Very simple yet detailed and believable. I enjoyed looking on the map with all these markers neatly placed!
Not a lot of unnecessary stuff: no broken scripts, no AI behaving weird… just solid gameplay. No crazy difficulty either (I played on semi-normal). Managed to survive whole mission by being cautious. Shot a couple guys, blew to pieces few others by lobbing 40mm grenades into unknown behind hedges. Ended up on the right flank near artillery battery. Turned out, most of the time I was away from my squad with other guys. I guess, right felt safer.
It almost felt like the bocage as you bring the fight from the large enclosed fields to more intimate allotments within the town. found a 2 storey building window overlooking said allotments/gardens and enjoyed whack-a-mole as enemy popped their heads up n down or as they moved from cover to cover.
The last objective is tricky but cracked it after using a sneaky flank.
Pacing (once on the ground) was really good and save points where you'd expect them to be.
Enemy ai skill seemed balanced.
My only criticisms would be
A.) The performance. Quite alot of ai but I suppose it could of been my view distance or Armafxp mod contributing to this.
B.) The intro seemed just a wee bit too long.
Not that it matters as Victorguez "is on it like a car bonnet" and sorted.
My thanks to both of you.
It should be: SigSound - ArmA 3 COMPAT - CUP

You could also edit the mission file and remove the references to this mod too.
:)
