I tried it, the situation still seems to work. What I am not sure about is if the fracture event (when your empire is divided) is working fine(I just played a bit with this mod, so I don't know. I triggered the cutural situation though)

Unfortanatly, the mod is a little bugged when it comes to the AI intervening on revolution wars, as all unplayable AIs that have revolved, declare war on anyone that is a military coup or other revelotionee, and they proceed to steal land from the owner whom which lost the original land. The war is a 1v20 normally, but this is bad cause its so god damb annoying when the unrelating AI intervenes and steals your territory.

I have played with this mid since the 3.7 update, it didn't work until either A: I restarted the game continuing on, or B: Midgame hit. Its pretty funny to watch it happen to the AI, as you will watch over time 4 AI empires will turn into more than 50. Super fun empire collapse mod.

It is possible, just centralize everything to your home sector. Who cares if some 10 pop planets declare independence.

I started a game playing the Cartel of Artemis, and all was going well until around year 2325 when i got the situation (forgot what its called) where the sectors declare Independence. I couldn't stop it so I was basically small blob. Then I had to go into an economic depression because i couldn't stop that either. So a small blob with no money was I then the Follow up event for the forgotten event ( I forgot the name of this one too) and then i died. It would be nice instead of blowing you turn into a fallen empire of sorts.

The idea has a lot more potential I feel and could be a very good addition to vanilla if it was handled correctly. That maybe your people grow decadent if you have excess happiness or amenities. Or you gain extremist groups that drop your stability and destroy your buildings if you have one ethic be overly dominant. Or you get uprisings if on one planet a single class dominates too heavily.
Decay like this usually comes from having too much of a good thing.

I think if Paradox would add this to vanilla it could serve as a great comeback mechanic to keep the game interesting late game and keep those ahead challenged.

LOOOVE this mods, but i have to unsubscribe because i was at the peak of my succession and i had every planet under control, but some how they took all my planets and my capital and i was dead

The idea of this mod is great but the events themselves really need more active choices to stave off or actively worsen the situation.
It's also extremely fucking annoying that the situations keep repeating, I don't recall the Royal navy trying to mutiny against the British Empire/the UK every 7 years.
Also never saw any sort of buffs after averting situations so dunno what you meant by that.

Author, this completely caught me by surprise, the situation of Economic Downturn was a little too on the nose for me. now i have alot of small nation states fighting for control of the once Galatic Industrial powerhouse that was the Great Solar Imperium.

good idea concept but needs a limit on how many go off at a time (5 so far at once), as well as a cool down from one happening again. I let the military coup activate and it spawned back in within 5 years. the empire sprawl penalty is annoying with stacking crisis. the permanent bonus is gained only if the crisis activates? havent seen AI experience the crisis's yet. I REALLY hate the military coup debuffs on fire rate and navel capacity....have a decision to spend influence on a planet decision to lower momentum for a set time? would be neat way to "organise the government"

will try to finish my playthrough but as it is now I dont think I will be using on a 2nd game....

@Questionable Cactus it suffers from the same problem that the old Dynamic Political Events mod suffered from (still does), events just happen regardless of empire choice/status.

This mod is kind of idiotic, I was in a game playing as a mega corp at the height of my power (Largest fleet was 400k strong), and had an average income of 4,000 energy credits, then suddenly I get hit with this bs "Population Stagnation" despite having done the flesh is weak and death literally being irrelevant, then on top of this despite literally being fanatic militarist, I get hit with the military coup event, which I couldn't even resist, overall this mod is good on paper, but in practice is too generalized and game breaking to really be any fun.

This mod is exactly what Stellaris has been lacking for years. Internal issues of your empire that can cause a collapse. Its the realism I love. However, as much of a challenge as it absolutely should be. This mod should be more game play balanced. As a player in a game i should have at least a slight chance of saving my empire while in crisis. Not being able to do a darn thing against 5 of these crisis happening at once is overkill, and flat out not a enjoyable experience. Especially if there is absolutely no reward but another crisis popping up the moment you end on based on nothing but pure luck. I ask the author of this mod to tweak it. This is a wonderful idea and I would love to see the progress it makes in the future. I feel i and many other player who have tried this feel the same way. Just honest feedback. Dont stop the amazing work!!!! :D
