Because right now I don't exactly have a model to fit that role, but I also don't want to just leave it with a mammalian ship as would be the default model.

I am very impressed with the models the EAWX team has put out for Thrawn's Revenge and Fall of the Republic and I have long enjoyed playing both those mods in my spare time. However, part of me doubts that they would grant me permission to use their models for my own projects so I am just going to leave it at that right now.

Hey, I've seen that you're using a scaled up version of the Providence. I assume you're trying to recreate the Dreadnought variant, right?
Folks over at Empire at War Expanded: Fall of the Republic have a nicely modelled one.

For those having issues with custom AI Empires using these ship sets not spawning in your games, even with the 'always spawn' option set, I figured out the issue. For whatever reason, the "Random Unary I" starting system option prevents them from spawning. Simply change this back to "Random" and they will show up. I'm not sure if any other starting system type also affects this, but I've had success with it just being 'Random'. I'm re-posting this on all of these Star Wars ship set pages since I've seen others with this issue. (Note that I had no other mods on except these ship sets).

I have decided to add an optional edict that can be activated by players using this shipset that basically allows for the models that have sat unused in this set to finally see some action.

I mean, the Subjugator is used for the model of the juggernaut being the largest ship. The colossus on the other hand does need a more unique model though (obviously using the Providence Dreadnought for a placeholder atm.) and I don't really want to use the Death Star as I want it to be unique for the Empire Ships. Hopefully I can find something in the future that would work better for that case, if not, I can always kit-bash something.

Mod is awesome, makes my dreams come true. So thank you very much for your hard work!!! Any plans on making something for colossus and juggernaut? Perhaps CIS reskinned juggernaut with their colors and banners, and for the colossus maybe a CIS death star! The schematics were afterall available in the clone wars, in another world perhaps :SpRad_ThumbsUp:

Well guess I forgot to announce this earlier, I did update this set today. All that was changed here is that the Habitat now has a proper model of The Wheel for every stage (as in an expanding appearance for each habitat tier)

Update!
The Separatist shipset how supports 3.5 "Fornax" and I have been busy the past couple of weeks to bring a couple of good improvements here! All military ships and stations have proper weapon locators now built into the models and pretty much everything has multiple proper death sequences (with lots of explosions, burning, and smoke) for when they are destroyed.

Ok all my shipsets appear to have been getting random negative ratings over the past day, is there something wrong with the sets because everything appears to be working fine for me?

Update! Much like the Republic ships, simmilar changes have happened here. Shield attachments have been added for many models here and the Starbase line meshes have received built-in weapon locators.

Huh? If the game makes random empires for your play through then they can pull from any shipset. These mods don’t disable them.

@Superior General Delvardus I did it with one of the shipsets from Arkchitecture Shipsets, so it's very do able. Just a lot of cut and pasting with the shipsets .asset file to get things transferred over. The way I did it, I just edited the vanilla asset file so it points to the mod. So you have to still have the mod loaded but I go and delete the common folder (anything in the common folder changes, it breaks the checksum, other folders are fine) and keep the original mod on. I've found transferring the various files that make up the ships doesn't always work very well. Not that I'd expect you to do it yourself, just letting it out there that it is do able.

The only way I think making a shipset achievement friendly would be to make this shipset as a replace for one of the vanilla shipsets. I don't exactly know the mechanics of doing that however as I have never done that before and I also don't intend on having additional versions of this mod to do that (It would just mean more mods that I would have to maintain and keep updated than what's actually needed).

alright i just restarted stellaris and it in fact worked, whoops xd (wanted to see the one then functioning mod ingame so didnt bother with redownloading), thank you very much for your quick answer for such a simply solvable problem. anyways great mods you're creating/maintaining i'm sure i will enjoy them very much as i love star wars a lot^^

Redownload the mod (unsub and resub) and see if that works. This is the first time I am hearing of this problem and my mods appear to be working fine for everyone else. It might be the case that Steam goofed up and didn't download the mod correctly.

all of your non-nsc2 mods have the error "descriptor file missing", except for the rebel ship mod. do you know why that might be the case or how i can fix it?

It is not showing up as a shipset that you can use on the Empire creation screen is that correct? That would be odd if that is happening when no other mods are in use as it works fine for me and other people.

Are you using any mods that are either outdated or significantly modify the ship classes? Usually that is the reason why these ships may not show up on empire creation. If that is not the case could you tell me what other modded shipsets you may be using? (Just so that I can see if there is an overlapping graphical culture or such)
