NSC just put out an update yesterday that changed how the strike cruiser is loaded, I will have to update all my NSC editions (probably this weekend)

When previewing this shipset in the empire creation screen, there is no strike cruiser model for me unfortunately, I haven't started the game yet so I can't tell if there is actually no custom model available or if it's just not displaying properly, looks great otherwise!

The reason it glows so much is because NSC overlays 4 Juggernaut models on top of each other (so that it can have 4 ship sections). I am actually considering get rid of the light meshes for all Juggernauts in the NSC editions for my sets come the next update cycle .

New models will have to wait. As for season 2 of NSC3 I will figure out what needs to happen when it eventually releases. I nonetheless will be updating all my Star Wars sets today since NSC have already updated to 4.0.

For anyone reading what I said previously, never mind about splitting the republic set into two shipsets for Stellaris 4.0. Life has just been way too busy, it will have to wait for 4.1 along with the other stuff I talked about.

I mean, there is still going to be a standard Republic and Separatist shipset which are the ones that currently exist in these mods, and most of the ship models that will be moved to these new sets are ones that are already unable to be used in the roster without the need of that edict that adds the extra sections so those models can be used. And the Republic one the currently exists is basically the aforementioned Grand Army of the Republic shipset.

so split ones will be useful if you wan to do a federation where each person uses a different, that is why it would be a good idea to release the split while also keeping the full ones around. though for the republic one there is a mod that allows you to change your shipset, so you can start with the Republic Judicial Forces and switch to the Grand Army of the Republic shipset.

because the Trade Federation, Banking Clan, Techno Union, Geonosian Hive, and the Killik Hive all sent ships to be part of the separatist fleets, but kept ships under their command. like the Trade Federation gave the separatists Lucrehulks which were modified to be battleship/carriers, while the Lucrehulks used by the Trade Federation during the clone wars were used for big cargo vessels.

For the next Stellaris update cycle following the 4.0 update I expect to be putting out a major rework for this shipset, probably adding a-lot of your suggestions. I do have access to many new models that I can use for the Separatists and the main plan is to split this set into multiple factional sets similar to what is coming to the Republic ships next week (where I split the set between the Grand Army of the Republic and the Pre-Clone War Republic Judicial Forces). With this plan I will be adding many sub factional shipsets to this mod such as the Trade Federation and Banking Clan.

for dreadnoughts, there is one ship you can add because you already have the model. the Recusant class dreadnought. and yes it is just a bigger Recusant. it is well know for one to have been General Grivous Flagship before he got the invisible hand.

did you have force's star wars planet mod? if you did then when you picked Separtist, then it selected force's one which is unmodeled. if you select any of the SW: shipsets then you get the shipsets from Superior's mods.

@Superior General Delvardus Whats the ship list name when picking the shipset in game again? I had two that it was doing it to and now all of a sudden one of them works fine without any input from myself. Stellaris is so fucky

@Zombie nah im talking about the vanilla game ships are appearing inside the NSC3 versions of this mod. Its showing the ships from the mod but the vanilla ships inside those models

so if you are running NSC then Vanilla it will switch around the ships though if you are running vanilla then NSC or just NSC it just loads up the NSC version.

so yes you are actually running both the vanilla shipset mod and the nsc shipset mod. oddly enough they all run together rather smoothly with no errors.

Still having the bug where it puts the vanilla NSC3 ships inside the ones from the mod. What could be even doing that and how does one fix it?

Not really a bug per-say but it's more of how each weapon slot has been tied to a model's locator, I guess I can have a look at changing the positioning of the locators.

I'd like to report a bug(?) concerning the Providence Dreadnaught's "Coverage Bow" having asymmetrical M slots. All 4 are on one side as opposed 2-per.

Well at least the Lucrehulk has no changes beyond paint, which I doubt many will notice. The Carrier, Battlecarrier, and Battleship all look the same except for markings. But I didn't know that about the Titan model limits, that's really interesting.

The latest NSC update did add hanger sections to the titan so that isn't an issue, the thing is that only one ship model can be used for the titan class so if I were to add the ships you had previously mentioned my plan would be to make the Lucrehulk Battleship the titan, drop the Providence Dreadnought to the dreadnought class while also adding the Recusant Dreadnought there as well. And then I would drop the standard Providence down to battleship where the is room for one more model that can be used alongside the Supply Ship and Bulwark that is already there. Though if I were to do anything like this I would want to avoid reusing the same models so I still need to either find or get permission to use models for such ships or do an extensive kitbash for the models I do have access to.

Well the Lucrehulk could just be reused at least. It just needs to be in the Titan class,and maybe had light hangar options to the Titans?

Well guess I forgot to announce this earlier, I did update this set today. All that was changed here is that the Habitat now has a proper model of The Wheel for every stage (as in an expanding appearance for each habitat tier)

Also for NSC specifically, I have added an additional variant of the Recusant destroyer (a model of the scout variant) as a battlecruiser appearance.

Yea... Sorry... I don't really intend to do legacy versions of my sets mainly due to not wanting to deal with tens of different versions of a single mod. And I also don't exactly have backups of older versions of these sets either.
