Hey Chief, I have to agree with publicENEMY here. I just added your map, this one here, into my Servers mapcycle and in the start command-line. And all my other maps load fine with the Workshop, but this one here wont work when you start your server with it. It probably works fine in the mapcycle, but not if chosen as starting map.

in the guide that you mention, it uses fastdl. workshop guide are obsolete.

have you ever host dedicated server and load your map which downloaded using steam workshop(not fastdl)? if you do, what is the command to load your map using rcon?

fwiw, the server is running properly with other workshop maps. only few maps (including yours) that i unable to load.

Arc made a guide on how to set up a server. It's located here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=345661185

typing in map bunker_busting_coop, i can play in single player. but how do you host dedicated server with this map? i tried rcon map bunker_busting_coop checkpoint it says map is nowhere to be found. other workshop maps loaded fine. it just this map and few others that have files located at C:\SteamCMD\steamapps\common\Insurgency Dedicated Server\steamapps\workshop\content\222880 folder.

how do i load this map in dedicated server?

Workshop is a strange beast. It packages the nav and txt files into the bsp. Unfortunately, to host the map, you need those three files separate or it causes problems. It appears the workshop is geared towards players joining servers hosting the map. In the future, I'll post links to websites, so players can download the files separately.

thanx that did help :D. also just a side note when i looked at what the workshop had downloaded, there was the .txt & .nav files were missing. i had also downloaded several other maps of yours and the same thing; not .txt or .nav.
Chief-C  [author] 27 Aug, 2014 @ 9:08am
The problem with not seeing them is common. The workshop creates a workshop directory within your insurgency/maps directory and stores them there. It also merges the .bsp, .txt, and .nav files. When hosting it, those files have to be seperate. You may try downloading it directly, saving to your maps directory and running it. The link below has all my maps:

sorry i also forgot to mention that if i dont move the map into the actual map folder i dont see them. i managed to unsubscribe to all the mods and nothing changed aside from the skins.
Le Pain Sale [GF] 25 Aug, 2014 @ 6:29am
no, unfortunatly not. ok i'll give that a shot and let you know
Chief-C  [author] 25 Aug, 2014 @ 5:03am
You may try unsubcribing to each and see if it makes any difference. Yesterday's update didn't have any effect?
Le Pain Sale [GF] 24 Aug, 2014 @ 9:39pm
yeah im running several skin mods, lighting mods and sound mods.
Chief-C  [author] 24 Aug, 2014 @ 11:52am
Are you running any custom content (skin, weapon mods, etc.)? They think it could be your theater file. It controls those types of things.
Le Pain Sale [GF] 24 Aug, 2014 @ 10:41am
nothing ey
Chief-C  [author] 24 Aug, 2014 @ 10:36am
I've received a few suggestions, but we'll start with the simple first. Open Steam, go to your Library under games. Right click on Insurgency and select properties. Click the “local files” tab and then select “verify integrity of game cache”.

nah also i only see just the front portion of my weapon like it was zoomed in or something
Chief-C  [author] 24 Aug, 2014 @ 8:12am
I wouldn't worry about it. Your description was pretty good. It was only the weapons menu that is messed up?
Le Pain Sale [GF] 24 Aug, 2014 @ 7:14am
want me to drop you a couple screens?
Chief-C  [author] 24 Aug, 2014 @ 5:10am
That is really odd...the map is completely built out of stock components. I'll ask around, but I'm completely lost on what could be causing that type of problem.
Le Pain Sale [GF] 24 Aug, 2014 @ 1:43am
uhm yeah... i dont know what is going on but it is utterly broken for me... weapons are messed, i cant choose weapons, apparently the m9 is the at4 (it even makes the same sounds), the rpk is a smoke grenade and the list goes on... really wanting to play it :/ please help

Well, you can open the console and type "map .map name here." and you will be able to play it, but apparently you'll be alone due this is a coop map, so just find a server that uses custom maps and join one to play with people.
Chief-C  [author] 8 Jul, 2014 @ 7:03pm
There are a few custom map servers as well. I found these two pretty quickly.

Insmaps.com Custom Maps COOP
The Hodor Emporium #2

I'm still figuring out this workshop thing, but it should have downloaded the files to your computer. If that's the case, open your console (~ key) and type map bunker_busting_coop. That should start the map in single player mode.
Adrián 8 Jul, 2014 @ 5:42pm
How do you play these maps? I mean there are no custom servers out there.
