Thank you for the information and the mod! Good design choice, I just wasn't sure if it was working or not.

It should prevent the kills (every 50thy) by setting the needed kills to maxint.

It does not prevent pickup / the buff. This was a decision to let people keep what they had if they wanted to.

The mod is also "untested" since upgrade to 1.4

i did a test on it by dropping a banner using heros mod and i was still able to pick it up. Does this also prevent banner buff cause you probably want it to do that as well.

Does not seem to be working for me on properties>betas>none. Are there any known incompatibilities with other mods? Also, is dropping a single banner on the ground and picking it up a good enough test to see if it works, or does the mod only prevent banners put into inventory on 50*nth kills?
