thanks for the suggestions though, i knew there was something missing with what I've been working on and that's explosions
**Katana Nox**

Basically Asra Nox's Solus Katana that's been adjusted for this mod's mechanics.
Primary: Kunai Kounter: Swing speed or SLIGHTLY slower than normal one. Instead of reflecting a bullet, it splits the bullet into 3 slow moving exploding shards, two of which shoot out at a 35 degree angle.
Secondary: Nox Dash. Works somewhat like the dragon dash, but its not an instantaneous warp, the player has to actually travel in a manner similar to Asra's dash. Player is invincible and does touch damage during the dash, and even automatically swings at the end.
**Upgraded Nox**
When upgraded at a weapon upgrade anvil, the Katana Nox gains the following traits:
* blade changes to the upgraded sprite
* Damage upgraded (duh)
* katana nox shoots 5, not 3 kunai (OR) Kunai have a larger and longer explosion.
* Nox Dash now produces Kunai explosions when it collides with an enemy.
Honestly though, this is incredible, awesome. I adore parry katanas in this game this is rad holmes instant download

Would it be possible to instead obtain how much damage was blocked?
For now though, I'm able to figure out how to make the swords only reflect projectiles, and I also improved the teleport correction algorithm. Update will come in a few minutes probably, just gotta document everything.
And if you ever figure that out, it'd be great to figure out how to make the kunai spike have the same damage (or at least a fraction of) the power of the projectile blocked. IE if you blocked a projectile that would have done 120 damage, the kunai it shoots back also does 120 damage. Or 90 damage. Instead of the straight amount of damage it does now.
also a nice find, maybe I could develop a timeslow ability and base it off that mod
