ive been trying to put the dragon dash onto other weapon but the weapon gets stuck in the slash after i teleport, what am i missing that will let the weapon continue to work as normal after the teleport?

Installed this mod last year, forgot about it as I didn't play starbound. Started a starbound playthrough this year, got the katana fifteen sword and i had to come back to this page because this is honestly the coolest mod on the entire workshop no cap. idek how you got the right click dash to work let alone add in the amazing effects, but bravo.

this mod is great. Very epic. Best to use if you want to do mass geno in ffs and gic mods + rpg growth pure damage glass cannon so you can one shot and let others one shot you for true katana zero experience.

im talking about the swoosh from the blade swing, katana zero and fifteen do not have the swoosh effect

Wait. are you referring to a different slash effect? Is the slash effect you're referring to the vfx when you swing the sword (swoosh) or the slash-projectile that spawns when you use fifteen's special?

unsure, i've run the game with 0 mods except for this one and the slash animation still doesnt exist for me, only the little laser animation for katana fifteen's special

The swoosh images are vanilla swoosh effects (items/active/weapons/melee/broadsword/swoosh2/electricswoosh.png); maybe there's a mod that edits/alters these files, or possibly their location?

the slash effect doesnt appear for me, but everything else works just fine, nothing game breaking just mildly annoying bug :(

Or maybe you could give your other mod, Solus Katana V0X, the parry-slash functionality, replacing the reflected bullet with the kunai?

@Rylasasin I don't think I'd be adding that to this mod since it isn't really from KZ, but I'm currently working on a sword similar to your suggestion, which I'll upload separate from this when it's ready.

thanks for the suggestions though, i knew there was something missing with what I've been working on and that's explosions

Another blade to add to the ToDo list:

**Katana Nox**

Basically Asra Nox's Solus Katana that's been adjusted for this mod's mechanics.
Primary: Kunai Kounter: Swing speed or SLIGHTLY slower than normal one. Instead of reflecting a bullet, it splits the bullet into 3 slow moving exploding shards, two of which shoot out at a 35 degree angle.
Secondary: Nox Dash. Works somewhat like the dragon dash, but its not an instantaneous warp, the player has to actually travel in a manner similar to Asra's dash. Player is invincible and does touch damage during the dash, and even automatically swings at the end.

**Upgraded Nox**
When upgraded at a weapon upgrade anvil, the Katana Nox gains the following traits:
* blade changes to the upgraded sprite
* Damage upgraded (duh)
* katana nox shoots 5, not 3 kunai (OR) Kunai have a larger and longer explosion.
* Nox Dash now produces Kunai explosions when it collides with an enemy.

That projectile parrying thing is awesome. I wonder if there is any mode that add the ability to slow down time for a short period to make that more serious combat option or maybe a shield that can do that without forward dash

That's exactly the problem I'm having; `damageListener` only tells me that I'm receiving no damage when I parry attacks

@Rylasasin The features you're requesting will come at a later update; it's difficult to get the damage of projectiles in the world since there's no direct way to obtain that information, and for now I want to refine the mechanics of the existing swords.

For now though, I'm able to figure out how to make the swords only reflect projectiles, and I also improved the teleport correction algorithm. Update will come in a few minutes probably, just gotta document everything.

Also perhaps you could expand this by including the other hidden weapons from katana zero with their own abilities (maybe make your own if you're unsure how to integrate theirs?) Or home-made variants with extra abilities?

And if you ever figure that out, it'd be great to figure out how to make the kunai spike have the same damage (or at least a fraction of) the power of the projectile blocked. IE if you blocked a projectile that would have done 120 damage, the kunai it shoots back also does 120 damage. Or 90 damage. Instead of the straight amount of damage it does now.

This mod looks amazing, can't wait to try it. Love your attention to detail for the mechanics from K0. If I may suggest, the mod link below (specifically the time stop) might pair really well to emulate the feeling from K0.
