No you don't ACTUALLY play the games within PZ.
Yes, your CHARACTER plays the games. You need to be next to a TV, have electricity available for said TV, and have the Console and a Compatible Game either in your inventory or on a nearby tile.
Typically what I do is grab the game I want to play, have a seat next to the TV, and use the game from my inventory, with the console sitting in front of the TV, like a 90's kid all over again.
It's a great way to Destress after killing a bunch of zeds, and immersing myself into a fully-accurate "What would I Do?" scenario.
so it throwed me errors even i crafted another things so i stopped use mod 2-3 mouths ago
An idea I have would be that the dummy items be converted into Game Cases, and that by right-clicking them, you can "Remove game from the case", which basically re-rolls the item into an actual, playable game.
That aside: the vanilla Handheld Game Console has neither been removed, or renamed as Nintendo Game and Watch (as I expected it would be) and remains unplayable.
Also, the tool-tips behind this mod are all squiffy:
*The NES, SNES, Sega CD, and Genesis games correctly state they require their specific consoles.
*The CDi games incorrectly state they require a Lynx to play. They should (and do) require the Phillips CDi.
*The Atari, Lynx, Game Gear, and Game Boy games have no tool-tip at all.
Its really just random
But in the next update we are adding an option to increase spawn rates.
You can also check schools, those have really high chance to spawn all the items.
You don't even need to blow on the cartridges to make them work! ;)
Fixed bug realted to item distributon on zombies.
Added Atari Lynx.
Its not game breaking and will be fixed next update.
If you want to have longer gaming sessions you can open the Crafting Menu, choose the game you want to play (i.e. Play Super Mario World - the game has to be in your inventory) and set the Quantity number (lower right-hand corner of the Crafting Menu, the field above the "Craft" button) to MAX or any number you want i.e. 30. That way your character will perform the action repeatedly as often as you specified and you can sit back and relax without right-clicking the game cartridge in your inventory every time you want to start a "play sessions".
Here's a picture showing what I described:

I hope I could help you and bring you more joy in playing Project Zomboid.
Every timed action in-game is scaled to this. So lets say that cooking something takes 30 in-game minutes. With different timescales, it always takes 30 in-game minutes. But these 30 minutes just takes longer in real-time, so you have to fast forward more.
I'm guessing that every "play session" in this mods takes about 1 in-game hour, on vanilla (1 Hour days). But with 6 hours, playing once only takes about 10 in-game minutes.
Using Games as a way to "pass time" without boredom is essential to this kind of playtrough, and why I dowloaded this mod.
Hopefully this can be adjusted with the timescale like base game actions do.
Sorry for the inconviniences, guys!
As Spicy_Apples has said: unsubscribe from my NES Addon for the time being if you are using an existing save. If you start a new savegame everything will work fine.
If your game is crashing disable it. It should work fine on new saves.
