@Toyota AE86 it should work fine. It's probably best that you avoid installing this mod in the middle of a dungeon tho, so install it when you are in the town.

Since this changes the class's stats and abilities, is this safe to use in the middle of a playthrough where you already have the character in your roster?

I attempted to do as you mentioned and it caused a crash. I deleted the two folders mentioned and the modfiles.txt. No other files were deleted or removed.

Thank you. I tried everything you mentioned except removing the modfiles.txt and that failed. Knew I forgot something. Much appreciated.

@EmperorZephyr if you want to only use the english translation, and remove the ability changes, you can do so by going into your Stem folder, under "steamapps\workshop\content\262060\2832452821", and delete the folders called "effects" and "heroes", and also delete the file called "modfiles.txt". If you do that, you'll only keep the english translation from my mod. If you mess up, you can just unsubscribe and resubscribe from this mod to fix things.

You can easily find that "steamapps" folder by right-clicking on the game in your steam library and choosing "Manage > Browse local files" and going up a few folders.

Got it working. I presume there isn't any way to use the english translation without the changes made to the abilities? I get why they were changed but I'd like to use the original power of the abilities for a particularly stupid run of DD.

Can't get this mod to appear at all. The main swordmaiden mod shows up just fine, but no matter how many times I try to subscribe and unsubscibe from the mod, the translation mod won't appear. I can see the file just fine in my workshop folder, but I'm genuinely confused on why it won't work otherwise :/

@LethalAether Have you made sure that the translation mod is placed higher than the original mod? Also, do you have any other mod that modifiy the base class?

greetings, first of all, thank you for taking this mod with a good idea + art and making it something that fits more into the base game with balance.

that being said, i'm not sure if it's a conflicting mod or something, but i can't use the "life limit" ability, even though it says i should be able to use it in any position? i don't know what the cause of this is, or perhaps if there is some condition i'm simply unaware of, but i thought i would ask / mention it.

Can someone explain what her skill skill does because so far I have found no use for it.Is is meant to be used after 100 stress or when it is leveled up I don't get it.

@andrewcheunghy I haven't touched the chinese localization. I believe you should be able to use this mod fine while playing in chinese. If your game is in chinese, it will just not use the english localization in this mod, but it will apply the balance changes from my mod.

Hi, did this mod still include the chinese verson? The origanal mod damage is too high. I love this balance verson rather than the origanal one, thank you

I've update the mod with more balance changes, this time mainly focusing on the skill "Domain of the Swordmaiden". As always, feel free to give feedback. You can check what was affected in the Change Notes for the latest update.

the original design is really cool and i agree it shouldnt change much but the numbers need to decrease a lot imo. most modded classes are pretty strong compared to vanilla but these numbers are so high the rest of your party doesnt matter

@MidKnight thanks for the feedback! I didn't want to overnerf her from the start, so my plan was to lower the numbers a little bit first, then see if more was necessary.

I want to avoid changing the effects of each attacks too much. At least I don't want to add new effects to her attacks, since that goes away from the original design. That being said, I'm willing to change the numbers on the effects the attacks have, if need be.

I'll get around to balancing her trinkets after I've done the main class.

Her damage is absurdly high. Lvl 0 6-12 from 10-16 is not even noticeable considering she has a trinket that gives her +67% dmg. Dragonflame breath doesnt need to blight anything because everything is already dead from the initial damage. Besides that, if that ability had -100% dmg/0% crit/no armor piercing/no debuff/ and double the self blight, it would still be better than any vanilla damage ability in the game, blighting 3 enemies for 3/5 pts/rd.
