Mod seems to crash when installed alongside fargo's mutant mod with FMM's "special seed" settings enabled

@Rubysapp I'm not good at coding, vouchers' drop hate just have a simple code anything can drop it with a 2% chance. considering anks charm pieces have like 1% chance to drop (but only from a few specific mobs), this sounded okay, to make it not that rare, but not that super common either. I think 1% drop chance would be too rare. ...though ultimately it's pure RNG anyway.

it's not really a solution, but you could just toss them into your piggy bank, and then just have them getting auto-sorted along money and whatever other stuff when you auto-sort items to piggy bank/chests (if you do that). I think they're supposed to work from piggy bank too.

is there any damn way to stop discount vouchers from spawning those things be dropping every damn second I kill a mob it gets annoying.....

@Furro Automata As far as I know, there isn't. I don't speak any Spanish, sorry. However if you're interested in translating it, that would sound great, and I can try to implement that.

@Dwarf Did the mod stopped working? It seems that happens now every month or two... it seems changing the version number and then upgrading it fixes it, but I wonder why this method is needed, when I didn't add anything new to the mod lately...

That being said, if it's just that, I'll fix it soon

@MercuryDoll Town NPCs kind of tend to have negative opinion about evil biomes on base, so it's probably that, and an oversight on my side that it wasn't fixed, but if you say it works all fine otherwise, then that's good.

It's a bit quirky as the fangirls both complain about living in corruption and next sentence exclaim they love it there when asked about "happiness" but it seems to work fine and they power the pylon from extrabiomes too, so all is well i guess.

@MercuryDoll Yeah, I have no idea how to code that, but there are other mods that enable it, and it works great with the NPCs in this mod as well.

Not just the fangirls by the way, particularly Flann needs it to allow to properly house her in the Crimson. She spawns when her furniture is placed, but after that, she'll move in a valid empty house. Same for the other furniture-spawned NPCs (CK barkeep and Cyber Fangirl)

So in order to place the Fangirls in the evil biomes, i need a separate mod that enables that? Was expecting that to be included in the mod exclusively for these two, but oh well.

@Venomyl The mod adds no new monsters (at least right now), the only major thing there is the town NPCs. you can just throw them in a wooden prison if that is how you feel like, or even outright disable them via cheat sheets if you really don't want them to spawn for whatever reason.

As such, I'm not exactly sure what you're upset about being some things you don't want, and can't easily bypass?

Hallow Fangirl. loves Dryad, ((the player character XD)), likes Wizard, hates Corru and Crim, loves hallow, hates Corruption and Crimson and the Dungeon

CK Barkeep (his likes and dislikes aren't implemented)

Cyber Fangirl. loves Cyborg, hates Corru and Crim, hates Corruption and Crimson

() marks are intended but weren't implemented yet for whatever reason, bugs or cross-mod content. also all town NPCs like the Princess by default.

Corru. loves Crim, likes Wizard, dislikes Guide, hates Dryad and Hallow Fangirl, likes forest - and corruption, hates hallow.

Crim. loves Corru, likes Arms Dealer, dislikes Guide, hates Dryad and Hallow fangirl, likes forest - and crimson, hates hallow.

Picklock. loves Arms Dealer, likes Goblin Tinkerer, Merchant, doesn't hates anyone, , liked desert, hates jungle

Scam Artist. loves Merchant, (Jeweller), likes Golfer, Nurse, Goblin T., dislikes Tax Collector, hates Angler, likes forest

Professor. loves Witch Doctor, (Zoologist), likes Truffle, Dryad, (Druid), dislikes golfer, loves all biomes except snow (he hates that)

Gravedigger. loves (Confused Zombie), loves graveyard (he doesn't have much preferences)

I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me what the various likes and dislikes of the npcs are for when I'm building homes for them. I can't find it anywhere and can't seem to figure it out on my own.

@StλrdλxPrime Huh...? I never seen such behavior from town NPCs, maybe it's something caused by another mod, or some kind of mod-compatibility issue? Do all town NPCs disappear, or only the NPCs from this mod?

Or do you mean deco NPCs? They are placeable furniture technically, so they also should not despawn either, if they're placed. (if you drop them, they will despawn as they're just items on the ground in that case)

Waiter - restaurant voucher (has 2% chance to drop from anything, so it's not all that rare)

Hallow Fangirl - crystal shard (hardmode)

Cyber Fangirl - place a cyber computer (craft it. hint: the orbs the fangirls sell) (hardmode)

Gravedigger - zombie banner (so, kill 50+ zombies)

Flann the Lucky - place a crimson archives (craft it. hint: crimson orb) ((her shop only works if she's in the crimson, some other mods allow for housing NPCs in evil biomes))

Crimson Kitchen Barkeep - find the Crimson Kitchen Restaurant. buy a CK pamphlet from the Waiter to show the way. he can be relocated after you found him. his bar (to spawnh him in) is craftable too, in case you generated the world without the mod (hint: crimson orb.)

@JamRe Since it requires Census mod to work anyway, you can just hover over the NPCs portrait in the housing menu to see what they need to move in.

But if it's helpful, you need to have the following item in inventory (or a few case, place a furniture);

Corruption Fangirl - crimstone

Crimson Fangirl - ebonstone (yes, both Corru & Crim require opposite evil stone so it's easier to get both, because they sell the respective evil stone (etc.))

Picklock - safe (rendering him post-skeletron normally)

Scam Artist - piggy bank (that means you need her dad, the merchant moving in first)

Professor - fossil (not "strurdy fossil" but the stuff you mine)

Are there any specific condition to getting them, or do you just find them in the respective biome, also, is there other methods to obtain npcs of the other evil biome or do I need to create the biome in my world to get them to spawn in?

Oh, yeah, actually! I would love to see some screenshots from people using the mod and building houses for the NPCs, or towns including them, or various buildings incorporating deco NPCs. Both in hope that it could inspire me to resume working on the mod, and to add some of those pics to the banner here.

Also, interested in hearing ideas what new stuff (like new deco NPC sets, etc.) you would be interested in seeing in future updates.

Currently, I cannot load the mod because the version is out of date (according to tmodloader)... I really like the mod and would love to continue using it :)

@cold headed I don't know. ...but if you play single player, you can just make it a rule for yourself not to buy it before that, if you really want it be be locked until that. If it's about multiplayer, that's a bit more complex, but that can be some agreement there too.

@cold headed Could you explain the situation a bit more? I'm not super familiar with Calamity progression. Hallow Fangirl sells hallowed bars after 1 mech boss is down, right? At that point, you have some already, and assuming you won a fair fight, you could most likely defeat the same mech boss again, it would be just tedious to farm them.

Does Calamity changes that in some way?

@Agergo100 There, I tried to put something informative(?) together in Photoshop. It turned out maybe kinda lame? XD But hopefully at least better than before (when there was nothing just the mod's icon). Maybe I'll make a better one later.
