I've updated the mod to work for unstable build 42. It's not thoroughly tested, but works for containers that I tested it on immediately after spawning. I don't play zomboid anymore (I'm sure I will be back in the future) but if you run into any problems, please try to describe the issue and I'll see if I can fix it.

Should be absolutely vanilla, similar to the "drop one" and "unpack" buttons on the items in your inventory itself

This is probably the best mod ever, along with grab & drop. Too bad it doesn't work with Inventory tetris.

@ThereforeAliens Thanks! And yeah, this has been a mod I've been wanting to make for a while. I never felt like the looting was very ergonomic. This mod still has a lot of room to improve though. Some of my ideas for future improvements are in the description above, but I'll try to think of more while playing. Maybe some other people will comment with some good ideas as well.
