It still seems Temujin starts out the dominant Mongol power before he even earned it. I guess it's to encourage the AI. He could still have good skills but be someones vassal or something.

Just a heads up, be careful with my suggested content. ExtraHistory makes Genghis Khan sound like a Bolshevik revolutionary and soys extremely hard over it.
When the China DLC releases, there could be an interesting distinction between what would be the Western Turkic Khaganate & the Eastern Turkic Khaganate. From what I'm looking at, the Mongols themselves seemed to be a group of "Tartars" that started using the label to distinguish more rebellious groups of Mongols. Further emphasising their shared heritage.

@Ġedryht of Wōden I agree with you that Paradox could not reflect the early life of Genghis Khan, and there is nearly no unique flavour for the Turks. The mod will be a general Steppe culture overhaul as much as possible

It's incredible how paradox managed to please nobody interested in Steppe culture with this update. I felt like I just paid for a new government and that was it.
They gave barely any unique flavour to the Turks. They didn't even really cover the Mongols much either however. I watched YT videos of Genghis Khan's early life (by extrahistory though seem to humble Genghis' origin a bit too much) and he was basically a powerful shepherd / herder leader who was seen as subordinate to his horse breeder clan blood-brother Jamukha which paradox for some reason represented as a weak vassal of Temujin-

-His friend was a horse breeder, saw himself as prestigious & treated Genghis like a submissive brother. This is why Genghis called for a Kurultai (a gathering acting as an election) & later split from Jamukha to form a meritocratic camp, causing a civil war.
There is so much more detail than this. None of Genghis' struggle, rebellion, allies, enemies (at least they added the Merkits), allies (where's Ong Khan? Shouldn't he be their liege?) & surroundings seem to reflect his early life at all.
Perhaps consider making a general Steppe culture overhaul?

In the new DLC, they portrayed the western Turks as completely Iranian. Their phenotypes and clothing are totally inaccurate. Even the Turks in the vanilla version of the game were better. I hope this mod will fix these issues.

Firstly, I would like to sincerely thank you for your interest in the mod. As I developed it on my own and haven't been able to update it regularly, the mod is currently depreciated and may contain some issues, so you might encounter a few errors during gameplay. Rather than updating it now, I’ve decided to wait for the upcoming expansion DLC, Khans of the Steppe. Once it's released, I plan to develop and release a new version of the mod to ensure full compatibility with the new content, which will allow for a more complete and improved experience.

I also want to let you know that I read all your comments, suggestions, and criticisms—and I will take them into account when working on the updated version.

As a little teaser: there will be a comprehensive 1302 bookmark on the updated version.

Son güncellemeden sonra Oğuz Tribal Rulerlara özel men at arms olan Turkic Horseman gözükmüyor. Bir hotfix ile sorunu çözebilirseniz sevinirim. Oyunu bir tek Wolves of Steppe modunda açıp denedim. Örneğin Sipahi oyunda var ama Turkic Horseman yok.

Kokturk culture is missing stuff like dynasty_names which causes new kokturk people having the default surname "Smith" and crashes the game when trying to form a hybrid culture.

With only this mod active, all grand temples disappear. Even the special building slot that should be there is unavailable. Its only the grand temples.

@KipchakTengri Mamluk can be found by all cultures having Turkic heritage, doesnt matter Oghuz or Kipchak, I will fix the problem regarding Suleiman Qutalmish today if it happens

Special Turkic Cavalary have to big ''T''s in their description. Only Oghuz can form the Mamluks but most of Mamluk Sultan's were Kipchak. Oh and btw for me Suleiman Qutalmish just does not exist and is not playable.:steamthis:
