That last sentence was a typo. LMAO.

It's a very easy mistake, especially considering I often call both dumbos a lot and they both are VERY visually similar (and looking up "dumbo octopus" gets you photos of both families).

But it doesn't matter much because both octopuses are adorable, as both are adorable.

@The Shark Dude It's a close enough relative that it was understandable for me to make such a mistake.

Wouldn't being an umbrella octopus technically make it a flapjack octopus instead of a dumbo?


Also, like someone earlier mentioned, one of these species was discovered recently and was going to be named Adorabilis, but it looks like it was named Californiana instead. A wasted opportunity by the scientists.

@spino Because I release them all at different times? Also, releasing an update for a mod gets literally no traction, everyone can see how obviously a new mod is out, it's very hard to see a mod has been updated.

@slimeySAN I liked how Subnautica was more, open ended, you could find and read the story if you wanted to, but overall besides the very brief intro, you can make up whatever you want as your backstory, all that's known is you were on the ship that crashed, that's in, in Below Zero your character is very set in stone, you have a sister, and it's not as engaging to me to be given a pre-set role rather than getting to make my own, it's a very personal reason for hating the game, but it doesn't make it invalid, it just dragged down the rest of the experience for me along with the fact I had a hard time exploring the map when compared to the first game.

why do you think below zero is a bad sequel? just curious

@genericspook I did the skeleton and physics, and the physics specifically were really hard to make, nice to know the one thing people had been begging for, for me to return to modding, was all but in vain, as I'm still gonna get people like you complaining.

This is probably a species known as an Adorabilis. I say that because it looks similar to one.
