Hi all! I made a first version of the new mod! It can be found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3373909039

Please let me know any suggestions and critiques you may have.

Look forward to the progress in refinement! :)

Hi! Honestly, I totally forgot about this game for quite a while.I am on a break from work and school and plan on making a refined version of this. A lot of the policies in this mod are very overpowered, so I plan on addressing that.

Guess the new mods didn't happen

Hey, I don't know if you're working on any new mods like you said you were going to, but I really hope you do. I really like this one. I know this game is dead asf tho lol

Nuclear Co-Ops, modular 4th gen nuclear reactors run by co-ops, there have been some Dutch and US experiments in this matter, usually from Universities.

Hi friends. Unfortunately, my computer crapped out and, as a result, I lost all of my files for this game. I plan on working on a couple new mods. I want to make a new, more in-depth version of this one, and a mod based on a green energy/society revolution/evolution. I apologize, but I will be unable to make any edits to this mod. Please let me know if you have any policy/balance/situation recommendations.

I really like the ideas in this mod. If i were to make a suggestion; why don't you introduce a cooperation vs competition tracker that indicates how cooperative or competitive your economy is. The more cooperative policies you introduce the more cooperative your economy becomes which then increases the effectiveness of cooperative policies and can even increase productivity.

A policy idea that could be added as an alternative to minimum wage is a productivity based wage law where instead of being paid per hour workers will be paid passed on how much they produce.

As for situations you could have issues where traditional companies and massive corporations attempt to sabotage coops. You could also make it cost more political power to pass cooperative policies if the existing economy is very competitive with a lot of powerful big businesses.

Looking forward for events and dilemmas! Good question, I don't really have any specific policy idea in mind. I would've mentioned transport as an area, but it's already noted in upcoming. I did hear about a dutch coop for car pooling/sharing as well, so that might be a policy idea (supporting car sharing coops). Healthcare might be another area, although here I don't really know how it could look like. Elder/social care coops might be something to consider. And since Energy is already covered: Cooperatives for the water supply as an alternative to state owned water companies.

@Padleboot thank you! I have been very busy, so progress is slow. Are there any policies you think would be useful? Once I figure out how to create events/dilemmas I will add those.

Just found the new version of this mod and immediately switched. Great to see you are still working on this with new policies and balances. I love how it allows to establish coops in different areas.

Hey all! I am currently working on a balance and creating new policies. Currently I am working on adding a new education policy, a sort of overhaul of the education system.
I know this policy is a bit utopian, so I am trying to incorporate some negatives.
Personally, I believe that this is a perfect way to transition to a democratically controlled socialist society so finding the negatives can be a little difficult.

Please, if anyone has any balance suggestions, lmk!

I realized was reacting to the last mod in my review. I like the new balances. Thanks for your work on this.

Politically I really like this and it models a great way to introduce a democratic bottom up kind of socialism but having no negatives/tradeoffs really makes it tough as a game because all I do is wait to have enough political capital and then just max it out.

@SoyBoy I agree! I am currently creating more policies and working on balances!
Soyboy 3 Sep, 2022 @ 12:26am
I love this mod! However I personally would add more substantial downsides (maybe leading to a general strike? lower gdp?). It would also be dope if you added mutual aid as economic policy. Great work regardless!

This has no negatives. Cheat mod

I plan on targeting education soon :)

Any chance we might also get Democratic Education?

i just played through a game took me about 2 hours. Got to say it feels a lot less over power then the former mod, yet still is a really good mod. I'm excited to see how it progresses
