Many races supported haven't made the jump to 1.5. Basically the only races remaining are Ayameduki's and humans.
Since Aya FA exists, FAWD seems a bit unnecessary at this point. I opted to update anyway since a few people seemed to want it.
Let me know if anything seems out of order.
Thank you very much for your patience.
You can certainly give the old HAR FA extension a try in the meantime. You may also of course try unsubscribing and resubscribing to FAWD if you haven't already. Once again, I couldn't confirm any issues with FAWD's bun support myself, so a local file issue still isn't out of the question.
Let me know if that still doesn't work. I can make you a quick, functional extension for the bun without the head resizing shenanigans.
Sorry for the trouble with XML Extensions - in hindsight, I would have avoided using it.
I've tried replicating the issue while looking for possible conflicts in your list, but everything seems to be working on my end. You could try shifting FAWD around in your load order.
At this point though, I'd recommend simply disabling FAWD's head adjustments and manually adjusting head size/offset to your liking using Stylish Rim. It can really help compensate for graphical issues in very large modlists.
Let me know if that helps!

If you prefer not to use XML Extensions, you could also comment out any Ayameduki race lines in FAWD's LoadFolders.xml file.
Let me know if that fixes it.
Are you possibly trying to use this mod alongside FAWD?
I optimized the menu as best as XML Extensions could support. My decision to use it for FAWD was an experiment. But for various reasons, I'm unsatisfied by the results. I have opted to leave FAWD as is and simply avoid XML Extensions for future projects.
Disabling the body of the settings should improve load times. If that doesn't help, you can try commenting out the XML Extensions line in FAWD's LoadFolders.xml file. This will of course prevent you from using the mod settings, though.
Thankfully, the update shouldn't be far out now. Hope you have fun using my mods regardless!
I apologize if my previous comment cause you any displease. I really enjoy Ayameduki's race and your mods optimizing the experience. Hope your work could be continued. It is a bless to use your mod.
FAWD, ARFA and THIGAPPE are currently in an awkward state in regard to the nexaga. Right now, it seems these mods should not be used together with the nexaga. ARFA uses too low of a FA head offset for FAWD's replacement textures. However, this will all be permanently resolved in an upcoming update to THIGAPPE.
Until the update releases, I recommend these workarounds:
1. Run ARFA and THIGAPPE, but remove the highlighted line here [imgur.com] in the LoadFolders.xml file directly under THIGAPPE's directory. This will simply make THIGAPPE not affect the nexaga.
2. Play without my mods for now, adding them in later at your discretion.
If you need FAWD for non-Aya races, workaround 1 should also work if you disable Aya race support through FAWD's mod settings.
Once again, I thank you for your time and effort. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.
Regarding your second question, I only use VEF for most of my testing and experience no blurry texture problems. In full campaigns I've used Graphics Settings+ in addition. For best results, I'd try experimenting with all three, as the precise formula can be hard to nail down. But HD Pawn Rendering is not strictly necessary to support 512x512 textures.
And for your final question, I've found that APP and THIGAPPE impact performance relatively little. There are reports of FA being worse, but personally I haven't found that removing it helped my late game performance to any significant degree. APP and FA both have mod settings that let you tweak rendering to theoretically improve performance. Other than that, the deciding factor is ultimately going to be how many pawns are on the screen at one time.
The errors seem to result from not loading any races FAWD adds support for. Since FAWD is first and foremost a HAR Facial Animation extension, I didn't expect people to use it for humans alone.
If you want to scale down human heads without using HAR, I'd recommend using Stylish Rim and leaving FAWD inactive. If that doesn't work for your case, I could make some amendments to the patches. But it would still require HAR to resize properly due to the race-specific rendering settings FAWD relies on.
For your first question, those notes I made are a bit outdated by now. THIGAPPE and FAWD are mostly decoupled except for the nexaga. Especially if only playing with humans, you can safely use THIGAPPE without FAWD and vice versa. I'll probably remove these warnings once I push the upcoming THIGAPPE update. Apologies for the confusion.
(Continued...)
May I please ask your help with these 4 red errors, and a few general concerns?
Main menu log:
https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/98cb13c5843d81a99e2d42735596ab80
Reproduction:
A) Delete all game files, mods, and configs, then cleanly reinstall
B) Mods, RimPy sort - Harmony, Core, All DLCs, HugsLib, Facial Animation - WIP, Facial Animation - Experimentals, Compatible Body 2, Apparel Paper Pattern, APP BodyType Overrider Extension, FAWD, THIGAPPE, XML Extensions
C) The errors occur at the main menu, and still happen if HAR is added; restarted in case they were first run only errors
Please let me know if there's anything else I could do to assist in any other way.
(continued below)
1) THIGAPPE's description mentions it was designed for use with FAWD, and that we "may run into problems I didn't anticipate" without it. But if not using HAR, can we still use FAWD to enjoy your aesthetic human head scaling? And can THIGAPPE work well without FAWD, in the context of not having HAR in a modlist?
2) In helping a user on 12/28/22, you noted that disabling Texture Caching in VEF could fix blurry textures. However, mods like HD Pawn Rendering (which allow 512x512 pawn textures and some other optimizations over vanilla's rendering), force enable VEF's Texture Caching and so stop the solution. May I ask your preferred way of enabling Compatible Body 2's 512x512 textures with THIGAPPE and/or FAWD?
3) And may I ask about late game performance, and any suggestions to improve it if necessary?
Thanks again so very much for your help, WRelicK, and the extraordinary patience and friendliness you've always shared in these comments. Be well!
And I also try put ARFA + THIGAPPE together, not surprisingly, bugs appeared. This time, the issue is wrong relative position of face and body texture with weird face scale. I debugged for a while and found faceAdjustment defs for Nexaga in ARFA is the cause. Because the parameters are suit to original body texture. The resolution is banned faceAdjustment defs and world peace!
If you have heavily modified your game, this will be your daily routine (Add new mod => adjust mod order and check compatibility => start => error => debug, infinite loop.) The above content is a little personal experience sharing.
Until then, I'd recommend you try using Stylish Rim to correct the offsets. Changing your load order and using THIGAPPE may also help.
It must be stated for the official record that he is in fact the absolute gigachad big dick OG that all the girls have told you he is and none of us are good enough to stand within his presence. It is by his sheer magnanimous mercy that we are allowed even a picosecond of his day.
now to wage war on his favorite waifu races with laser weapons.

I've worked really hard to get all these waifu mods in and find vanilla bodies that were similar in art style.
I've been anxious to get home from work all day so I can declare war on all this waifu-bait and cleanse the galaxy with glittertech weapons and holy nuclear flame, so you can imagine how hard it was on me to see things broken.
