i am playing on a highly modded client for reference, but unless one of those mods got some strange update I am not aware of that broke TFA-VOX, I don't know what mod that would be however.

I am thinking it's not an issue with my mods... I am thinking something simply changed with Gmod so TFA-VOX is misbehaving. It's hard to say what true cause is here.

Yes, I noticed so far it's only TFA-VOX I am having issues with. I would need to test more packs and player model combinations to see if it's the same issue across the board. But something isn't right, something with recent Gmod updates I think broke something.

does it happen with just tfa-vox, playermodel and the pack for it enabled?

Yup can confirm something with TFA VOX is now broken... all of a sudden all my vox packs are starting to go mute after just one to two voice commands. Or after assigning a pack and typing in the tfa_vox_pack_reload related command before or after, no dice.

This is isn't good, I relied on this addon for my Gmod Realism films for voice acting the character I am playing as :/

two separate installs tested, both work on my end
check your addons, try with just tfa-vox, the playermodel and its pack enabled first

sometimes, the callout text seems to shorten itself out to 1 letter. i'm just suggesting that maybe you could show the full callout text name when you highlight it? you can position it next to the mouse if you'd like.

i cant use the callouts wheel i have it binded to a key and it does pop up but it doesnt do anything
