But this one is still fun to use, especially with how you can troll with the music select

I think for a game like Rivals, having a Copen that isnt 1:1 with his game version would still make sense if done well. As long as he resembles his game version while still fitting a Rivals moveset.

iX2 was weird cause its still the same style of game as the rest of the series, so the changes feel unnecessary.

I have other projects pending to do, even if it was cool to see Copen as a non-ssl character, there's 0 chance for him to be balanced at all without ruining the character entirely
Luminous Avenger iX2 is the prime example of that
(Without mentioning how difficult and time consuming is to make sprites and the coding)

I agree, having a full Rivals style moveset for Copen would be a dream!

Because people rarely bother to leave a thumbs up in this workshop and also cause SSL characters arent as popular as the mainstream ones

Copen and Seethen

I'm super super happy to see a rep from my all time favorite platformer series! He's really fun to play as, you really captured how his Bullit Dashes feel- especially with how he rebounds off things! It's also really cool how you mixed mechanics from both of his spinoff games, I always felt the Razor Wheel would fit in a fighting game. I also really appreciate the Lola songs, I wish she had the 8-bit version of Luminous Promise as well but this many songs is more than enough!

My only complaint is his fast fall reload is a bit finnicky to me? I can't seem to always pull it off, and you can accidentally spam dashes a bit too fast and burn through all your Bullits. I also keep tapping down-down to reload on the ground, but that's more my fault and a sign you really captured his gameplay.

Hoping we might one day see an SSL Gunvolt himself, seeing as he also has a BMZ cameo you can use sprites from!

@cogmelo Sadly I dont, what I did was lower the volume of the music from Luminous Avenger iX2 and record the audio directly from the game, then I just edit them a bit to make the music not overlap with the voice
