I think i found a secret you hid, idk how but i threw a grenade at an idle portal and as soon as it blew up i got a gman cutscene.

NPC's can pass through portals but they will not recognize them as a way to move around and some may avoid them as if it were an obstacle

since they are static and actually teleport players I wouldn't want the classic hl portals to have ray effects or you might add one with the hl1 vort rays but separately customized. However the whole sound beamstart setlist must take place and be included.

It's beams/beamstart5.wav, the death portal uses a pitched down version of ambient/levels/citadel/citadel_drone_loop2.wav for the loop and a pitched down version of npc/stalker/go_alert2.wav for the effect

NPC's can pass through portals but there's nothing that incentivizes them to do so. Most NPC's will see the portal entity itself as an obstacle and attempt to pathfind around it.

This add-on is what I call a miracle, nothing beats this, not even the portal gun, and that thing lags when there is too much happening and/or too many players.

Thank you, this is possibly the most helpful way to travel and easily from different points, specially on platformer levels.

This needs to be a permanent default for garry's mod asap! :papyruswacky::espresso:

You can save portals using the persist function but they don't save themselves no. And everything required is included so no.
