Traditional Shogun Total War had a bug where when I modified the unit, the sound of the matchlock musket's sound changed to the sound of the flintlock musket of the fall of the samurai. As your description above, if I change the"gun_type" from the projectile table to the musket_flintlock, will it sound like the sound of the arquebus sound?

Should I use your mod with the modified pack file?

@SPARTAN CORP, you are wrong. Gun sounds get muted even in vanilla, it happens cuz CA limited how many sounds can be played simultaneuosly

@Essence, this mod is incompatible with everything, cuz the game is unneccessarily hardcoded and I had to find workarounds to fix bugs, CA never bothered to fix. If someone wants to make it compatible with anything, they are free to do so, as long as they give me credit

Not sure what's wrong.
With this mod everything works perfect. All the sounds are correct, however, some sounds are muted. Like if there's a line infantry shooting, the sound only comes from half of the guns. Without this mod all guns sounds, but they sound like cannons. Is there any way to solve this?

This mod is good mod.
but using this mod, when mouse over the ninja, ship, or tercos unit card, the screen turns black.
Is there any solution?

Can i ask which tables are solely related to the sound fixes and voices? You are datacoring all the tables, while adding 1 or 2 things here and there from what i can tll from description? Which makes the mod unable to function with everything else i have, and while i can edit it to work together, since its full tables its impossible to know what changes youve made without checking it one thing at a time for the whole rows.

Unless you have to remove things from base game you dont need to datacore, if youre changing or adding new lines, its better to have a_projectiles, instead of the "projectiles", which overwrites base game, removing all the other projectiles. This also make it easy to see whats changed and make compatible with the other mods. Currently, you do a lot everywhere, that i dont know whats what.

That said, appreciate what youve done, its absurd that CA hasnt fixed something like this tbh.

hey, i have one problem, i had installed both this one but the portuguese tercos has no name, same goes with the ninja. so i tried the international one and it is still the same.

@Emiya, hi. Sorry, I didn't bother to update any of my descriptions, cuz nothing matters. If you use english loc, you need this mod, where I answer you. International loc is for all other locs. This one also includes ninja stats fix

@Guvenoren, any software you want to use. Capture it and upload it either to youtube or google.drive. I don't have shogun 2 installed for 2 months already. When I made this fix, everything was fine

Alternatively you can just go into the game yourself. Go into a custom battle, use matchlocks, let them shoot and have sound on. It's not hard to reproduce

@Phrog, I believe so, I own it and don't know, if RotS sound files are present in .pack files if you don't own it. I used some of those files for DLC units, that weren't voiced by CA

You say your mod is not compatible with anything, I just looked at your tables as unit_stats_land_tables

In real life, your mod could be compatible with everything, you just have to keep the lines you added.
On the table I indicated above, you added 10 units, instead of rewriting 350 lines (thus overwriting the others that other mods potentially use) just add the 10 lines you added.

Yes modding is tedious, nobody forces you and don't put you in trouble where there is none ^^

Thanks to one twitch streamer, I noticed, that in fots battles when units approach the enemy, their voiceover fucks up: units answer with 3 or 12 or 15 actor voice. But when you give it orders, all three units answer with voice 3. I don't know why is it happening and I don't know how to fix it, I tried some things and it didn't help. Also CA didn't bother to make voice event for placing your units on the fort walls and when you do that, units answer with actor 12 generic response

@everyone, I'm working on the fix for english loc (I guess it's the most popular loc). But it lacks some of the needed lines. There is a service, that can text to speech from samples, but it requires subscription. If anyone wants to contribute, add me for me details

the vanilla parrot gun is missing it's fire particle effects
The parrot gun fix mod fixes it but it's in the projectiles db.

One of my biggest trigger is that CA made VA voice lines, that will never be used in the game, but didn't give them the lines, that are used. Not to mention that some voice events are broken or missing
