Absolutely. Open the mod setting decision. Has settings to make Mordor weaker. You can also make other factions that oppose Mordor stronger.
Nilasarrow 20 Jul @ 8:07am
Is there a way in any menus to make sauron weaker as the only way for me to survive and have a chance to play the mod I have to play either isengard or gondor? I like playing lorien for example but sauron qonquers everyone and eventualy just overwhealm me I cant counter it in any form?

A small mod update has just gone live. It adds new random events, revamps some event graphics, and improves existing events. Minor unit model and map improvements are also included.
Nikator 9 Jul @ 3:46am
Amazing mod
Gratak  [author] 4 Jul @ 11:32pm
No major content updates being worked on atm but if there are any issues we are quickly fixing them.
Pirku 4 Jul @ 5:13am
Hey, is it still updated?
quandarian 2 May @ 11:50am
Thanks @pureon. The map is certainly very decent as is. I won't hold of my Elessarionath world conquest then
Pureon  [author] 29 Apr @ 2:36pm
@quandarian: We have Bellakar, Tulwang, and Bozisha-Miraz to the far south of Umbar. There are no plans to expand further south as the landscape there is a good border for this mod. We also have no plans to add the Valinor in the far west - the Belegaer (Great Sea) provides a natural border for our map.
quandarian 29 Apr @ 12:01pm
Hi devs, loving the mod as always! Wanted to ask if there are any plans to add the south-western end of Middle Earth, that was added to the Crusader Kings Realms in Exile mod? I believe the region is pseudo-canonical in the sense that it was fleshed out in a campaign book for the pen and paper MERP RPG in the 90s

cant seem to be able to assimilate cultures?
Gratak  [author] 25 Apr @ 9:15am
Arnor can be formed yes. They cannot unite with Gondor though and do not get Anorian culture.

No plans for adding separate legion units as the game isn't really made for the number of units we already have and we only very carefully add more.
nordstern 25 Apr @ 8:14am
Is Arnor as formable nation implemented?

And do you plan to give the dwaves an armored heavy soldier variant as Legion and the current one for levys?
Pureon  [author] 18 Apr @ 12:39am
This mod has now been updated to work with the latest Imperator 2.0.5 beta release.

If you are a GOG user, or haven't updated to 2.0.5 of Imperator, please use the Paradox Mods version of this mod instead. Link is in the above description.
Gratak  [author] 30 Mar @ 11:47am
You can run the game with this mod for 7014 years. That should be enough :P.

If you want to go very slowly you probably need to go into the mod settings (in-game decision) and make Mordor weaker. Otherwise they would conquer the map within 100-200 years.
Nuclear Winter 30 Mar @ 11:23am
How many years does this mod go for. The original game is very short.

What is the end date?
Gratak  [author] 30 Mar @ 9:57am
There is our discord, see the link in the description.
Gratak  [author] 20 Mar @ 6:26am
No.
awb 20 Mar @ 2:40am
I noticed that meneltarma is sticking out of the ocean. Can people who have numenor strong blood or numenor blood get a seperate mission tree/decision to send expeditions to it?
Gratak  [author] 5 Mar @ 4:27am
No. Assimilation is limited to Gondorian and Banadunaim. There simply is no Arnorian culture people could convert towards during the war of the rings.

Guess I could add it specifically for Arnor once you found it.
Haru 5 Mar @ 3:28am
Does Arnorian culture form as a result of Edain numerical superiority of Rhudaurim or Druwaithing in any specific province? Say I move a bunch of Rangers to Tharbad to attempt the mixed Edain assimilation.
Gratak  [author] 13 Feb @ 3:51am
I've now added the question (and answer) to the FAQ discussion, see there please.
Haru 13 Feb @ 2:11am
Hi Gratak, thanks for the awesome mod. Can you further explain inter-human assimilation? Its been a while since I posted here requesting an Ost-en-Edil special building, and I was just curious if the human assimilation was new and how it works.
Gratak  [author] 22 Jan @ 9:24pm
@Serious Felix: Assimilation is just within human cultures. You can integrate within your culture group very cheaply though and also pretty cheap within all elven cultures.

@Valaquenta: Not sure what you expect of us here and I certainly hope you solved your issue by now but ctrl+alt+delete should be the best known windows shortkey. If you should be able to reproduce this freeze it could be something that is actually related to our mod and not just windows or imperator having a hickup that is out of our control.
Serious Felix 22 Jan @ 1:11pm
How does the passive assimilation work exactly? I'm playing as Rivendell and have picked up quite a few lindon pops. However they never seem to turn into Imladris culture. Do I need to do something? Must they be integrated for it to happen?
Gratak  [author] 17 Jan @ 10:38pm
Cirdan is a Sindar, Mithlond is supposed to be a mix of Sindar and Noldor. And that is exactly what we are showing. We have just split the two cultures into two separate countries with the Noldor being very loyal vassals since that works better with the mechanics of the game.
Baligdur 17 Jan @ 11:49am
Why Mithlond has Wood Elfs heritage and Sindari culture ?

I was sure that it was mostly Noldor region.
Mr. FatShekel$$$$ 11 Jan @ 7:24pm
BECAUSE ELF IN LORE ARE THE FUCKING UBERMAN OF MIDDLE EARTH, THEY WOULD AND CAN KILL ORCS AS EASY AS BREATHING
Gratak  [author] 11 Jan @ 12:37am
Because it is WAY harder to get 4-5k elves than to get 10k orcs.
E.T 10 Jan @ 11:39pm
BRO WHY ARE ELVES SO OP, I SENT 10K ORCS VS 4-5K ELVES AND MY ARMY GOT TOUCHED
thanks for updating
Gratak  [author] 4 Jan @ 9:43pm
There isn't any way to change the levy setup of a culture during a game. But if you get pops of other cultures and integrate those, you can get any unit. Also for legions you can unlock units like any other nation and than actually even use hobbit pops to build those.
Kulan 4 Jan @ 8:42am
Are Hobbits forever stuck with Halfling Infantry? What about engineers?
Gratak  [author] 3 Jan @ 10:33pm
Because you have to unlock them first. Depending on your country you have the accorrding units at the start. Elves for elves, dwarves for dwarves, and so on. Normal humans only have (some) standard units. But you can theoretically unlock everything via military tradition trees. You do of course need the right integrated pops for that.
Kulan 3 Jan @ 11:14am
Why can't I create different types of units for my Legions? I can only create the cultural unit and supply train.
Fesvoje 27 Dec, 2024 @ 7:55am
Dunland formable would be nice among with some special units for haladian cultures. I am sorry, but bonuses for light infantry in Northmen military traditions in this mod are not enough to offset every other unit type obliterating them.
mahu 8 Dec, 2024 @ 2:16pm
is starting mordor supposed to be extremely weak? just downloaded this mod and tried to do a test war (since i didn't play this game for years). i sent my starting forces plus mercenaries against nurn and they got instantly obliterated. i waited until they had full morale bar but in battle they just collapsed instantly against forces that weren't even half their numbers. took exactly 6 days for my entire morale bar to deplete

also, i can't seem to get my vassals to join. despite having over +100 relations it always says 'disloyal vassal'

- New 3D unit models have been added for the Easterling tribes
- Distinctions can now be awarded to Legions for notable battles
- Osgiliath, Pelargir, and Emyn Beraid have unique 3D models

- More deities, events, holy sites, and other map improvements
Pureon  [author] 6 Dec, 2024 @ 1:27pm
Updated the mod to work with Imperator's new 2.0.5 beta. Should still work perfectly fine with Imperator 2.0.4

Is Cardolan Formable for the Peoples of the Gwathalo. Cause I broke as a protectorate and it’s my current goal. To form the Kingdom of Cardolan.
Gratak  [author] 24 Oct, 2024 @ 5:10am
What language is your game set to? The mod only works with English I think.
Morandi 23 Oct, 2024 @ 8:23am
Hi, great mod!
I have a problem, the character names don't display and neither do the descriptions.
ex : edain_group_malename_desc.
Gratak  [author] 5 Oct, 2024 @ 12:50pm
(also, we didn't change anything about road costs. These are all vanilla values. The only thing is that siege engineers have been removed, which should reduce the cost to 10)
Gratak  [author] 5 Oct, 2024 @ 12:49pm
I think the road cost reduction tech is on levy roads (legion roads are called military roads). These are on 50 gold by default. On the engineer cohort, I must admit I am a bit confused on how you got those. As of right now it shouldn't be possible to get them in our mod.
Piouz 5 Oct, 2024 @ 1:49am
This mod is amazing and the whole team deserves praise !

I have a question about roads : I have a dedicated road building legion, with 2 engineer cohorts, as Gondor. I also researched the road price reduction techs, but the road price remains the same, 25gc. Is this intended ?
Thanks and congrats again !
Gratak  [author] 26 Sep, 2024 @ 4:59am
No. And I wouldn't know how to do that in a way that makes sense lore wise. The stewards while being successful in their rule would never give up on the throne to Aragorn. Basically the requirement would have to be that you fuck up and get saved by Aragorn after Boromor and Denethor are dead. Not something that would ever happen with a player Gondor and AI rangers...
Tactius 26 Sep, 2024 @ 3:57am
Is it possible, in some way other than conquest, to get Aragorn as king of Gondor?
Red Moff 23 Sep, 2024 @ 6:43am
Cheers
Pureon  [author] 19 Sep, 2024 @ 12:45am
That fix is now live
Gratak  [author] 18 Sep, 2024 @ 2:01pm
Thanks for the feedback. There was indeed a bug that was introduced in a recent update. Fixed it in our code, will be fixed with the next upload which I can't do myself, but I asked Pureon to do it.

Sorry for that.
