You did nothing wrong, I forgot a step. After you do everything else, you need to reverse the output of the And Components as well. (e.g. 6 become -6)

I set it up as I told you, but I'm only firing missiles in the 3 and 9 o'clock directions. Did I make a mistake?

You'll first want to reverse the Y-Offset of each of the horizontal motion detectors, that way they detect motion upward. (-1000 becomes 1000)
Next, you want to flip each vertical motion detector underneath the set of horizontal ones. (Thus leaving the smallest-range motion detector is closest to the horizontal row.)
Lastly, reverse the Y-Offset of all the vertical motion detectors. (-110 becomes 110)

I also want to use it in the 12 o'clock direction, so how should I set it?
