Hey, the character is pretty fun overall, but on multiplayer online, using the dark matter minion and a strong attack causes the screen to flash yellow rapidly. Hurts the eyes and could probably induce a seizure

This is a very good character. It looks like you aren't really doing updates anymore, but if I could suggest one change, it'd be to make the minion's attack hitboxs linger for a few more frames to better catch opponents with.

I've been trying for a while to actually hit someone with it, but the attack requires very precise timing on an enemy that is usually flying/falling through the air.

Playing Darkmatter more after the patch I find i'm okay with the changes, he still feels good even with nerfs, however I will retain the opinion that he should be able to store his n-special; I rarely find myself actually using it to reposition the f-special eye so giving it the option to store it would at least balance out the fact that it can just be hit back toward you with any active hotbox instead of a parry.

one of my favorite random hyperfixation characters and i love what you did with him, so many cool options and beautiful spritework. The only thing id change is maybe make it so dair doesnt bounce you. it feels a little awkward and doesnt look like a move that would do that, i didnt even realize you could follow up so quickly from it, but thats just a nitpick. also, QUICK BUG, if you hit the minion with a projectile while it uses a smash attack it fucking books it off screen lol

I want to be subscribed to this character cause it's so well designed but it is way too overpowered. It has insane camping options in both isn't specials and airials. If it lands a neutral air it gets a free follow up if it lands a fair it gets to go back to camping or use it's amazing edgeguarding options. Then to top it all off it's fstrong kills at like 40.

If I may so humbly suggest as I respect all your mods. That you reduce the kill power DM has and focus it's kills on the edgeguarding. Keep it's specials the same mechanically but reduce their damage so they don't get as much value. And reduce the frame data on the airials. Anyway thank you have a nice day.:vlambeerFish:

You made his f-strong even slower in regards to frame data, and nerfed the knockback, but didn't even increase it's active frames (which was the main problem, it should last longer to justify the slowness). The n-air change sounds like a good buff to combo better, his f-special is overall nerfed like the this patch, the d-air being cancel-able and d-special not stooping your moment are welcomed changes to his utility, but I think you should at least give him the ability to hold a N-spacial charge considering all these nerfs; that startup decrease isn't enough to warrant it using it more as opposed to just giving it more utility by storing it.

I still think the f-strong should have a longer active hitbox, Sounds fair to me with how Dark matter has a bunch of startup and endlag on it and most of his moves, in addition to the actual laser graphic lingers longer the the hitbox.

@Witteren That character is Sciros made by Djentalist. They're a very scary rushdown character who is easy to pick up but has a lot of tools for styling on people if you've got the execution for it

update: i have not found anywhere that says opponents are forced to flinch on the ground in fstrong.gml (assuming it would be there, if it would be somewhere else my bad). i personally don't think air opponents should be able to tech the first hit at all

This mod is honestly perfect in my eyes, and is exactly what I wanted to from Dark Matter in both Rivals and Smash. Everyone did an outstanding job with the mod, and this entire project for that matter, with making all of these incredibly high effort Kirby characters and stages! Everything down to the movesets, super detailed and smooth spritework, yet still fitting the style of Rivals, just everything about all this work is so impressive. I commend everybody who contributed to this project for Kirby's big 3-0!

Suggestion: For n-air have the two hits before the final one draw the opponent inward rather out so it hits more consistently.

Suggestion: Either increase the active frames for his f-strong from when it currently starts to when the laser visual actually disappears or remove the laser visual after the hit box stops being active. It's very un-intuitive to someone playing to know when the move is actually dangerous without going into training mode with hitbox visuals on while in slow-mo.
