I know you said you fixed it, but when I fail at getting a mark on desire I only lose one health but get both an injury and a decrepitude.

Idk if you're still updating this, but i thought i'd post a bug report anyways. when an exalted knock (the only ones i have) are taken into the desire verb, the verb stops and begins to produce infinite fascination, but doesnt output the recipe and practically crashes the game via lag.

You can change back to Bard after getting the contract card, but I'll add a way to get it without switching desires later, I hadn't thought about it.

V 1.3.0 changes:
- Fixed error when failing to gain mark on desire. Now it will lower your health by 2 when returning injury and decrepitude.
- Changed some text, both to fix grammar mistakes and some stuff I didn't like how it sounded.
- Cleaned up some useless code.

Yeah, thanks for pointing it out. It should lower your health by 2 when giving you the cards, not 1. I'll fix it on a next patch.

so there seems to be a bug, whenI faild to gain mark on desire, after it hurt my health, it gave back injury AND decrepitude, resulting in me gainnig potenial new heatlh every time

Lol don't worry. I once spend like 4 hours wondering why I couldn't get past an Edge/Moth obstacle with a Heart follower on an expedition

Upon second examination of the images, it would appear that I am an idiot, and I was 4 off from the needed influence, and had forgotten the actual required influence for regular Ascensions. Mostly because I play a lot of Dancer and Exile.

We shall see, after my current playthrough- and I play a lot of cultsim, so it'll probably happen sooner rather than later. Despite this unfortunate happening, though, I must say, again- great mod, very evocative writing. Solid 9/10, and doesn't feel a need to get cute with the gameplay to give it an entirely different feel from the other changes. It is to Vanilla what Dancer is to Enlightenment, Power, and Sensation.

The looping desire slot is what upgrades your marks by "consuming" the exalted (it should give them back however). With the 6th mark it should be enough for the final ritual... I don't have any issue triggering it but maybe you did something I did not account for that disabled it.
If you get the error again send me your save file please, now I'm curious about it.

Unfortunately I started a new game since then, but it held all the cards I had in the Work verb, and when I added the Desire card (again, with six marks), it just had the "A Great Work?" text. I did note that the looping desire slot that pops up with time can 'consume' each Exalted cultist multiple times, however, so maybe that's related to it?

I really like this mod, but I'm stuck at the sixth mark- I have the House of Seasons, Grand Finale, exalted companions, devil's violin, everything- what do I do to progress further? None of the rites work with the desire, even though I've basically maxed out Knock at 32-40, if I have an Influence.

V1.2.1 changes:
- Fixed blinking on the cards going back to the original art.
- Music Temptation will pass all initial Temptation checks for romancing followers, so you don't miss on any (keep in mind this mod doesn't do Ever Afters, but it does have a dual Ascension like the vanilla game).
- Fix minor bugs with card / verb interactions.
- Fixed a lot of grammar mistakes (thanks Laura for proofreading <3)
- Changed some descriptions and card names on followers to better represent my feelings.
