Oh- it seems that's an issue with both branches, they both tell me I'm missing an artifact when I have everything listed in requirements.

For some reason my research bench doesn't recognize that I have the books needed (2 normal and 1 ancient book) for the Hive Armor Tier01(Southern) tech

Yes, everything is fine, this problem has been around for a long time, I think this is due to the quality of the weapon.
