@ebalsya you gotta change them both unfortunately because the game doesn't allow for you to link guns or do anything like that, but you can switch them out in the editor too if you don't want to (or use debugdraw command to save the sub for a low low price)

@ebalsya It would probably be easiest to add a depth charge launcher yourself in the editor, it's actually really simple. All you need to do is put a Depth Charge Tube where you want them to drop from, put a Depth Charge Loader where you want the loader to be, link them (select the loader, hold space and click the tube and a green link will appear between them), then just wire up whatever you want to TRIGGER_IN on the tube.

The buttons switch between 2 guns. Each gun is it's own thing, so you would have to change both guns (that's just how the game works unfortunately). Nothing will bug but since they both run off the same loader they both need to be the same type of gun, since, for example, you can't use coilgun ammo with a pulse laser.

also, if i change the x2 cannons(the ones top/both with a button to switch between) in the upgrade section on outpost, will they both change, or something bugs?

@Mr_Crowley Maybe the game is mad that their periscope changed? That's a really strange issue idky that is happening. You may also need to order them to fire from the other gun, as their previous order may be the top gun, then when you switch it to the bottom gun, they need to be ordered to shoot out of the bottom gun

Hi, the submarine is very good. I don't know why, but when I switch the guns from the upper to the lower bots stop firing. Don't know what this might be related to?

@Blake I updated how the alarm works, I replace the lock with a disable feature that prevents it from ever being able to turn on with an AND component, so any client side desync the new update may have introduced should not happen in the future, please let me know if there are still issues

@Blake had this same issue, it seems the new update broke it in some way. The alarm would never turn off for a few people on the server I was playing on even though there was no way for it to turn on and we were hitting the button. I will look into this further and make a support ticket for motion detectors

if U can, it would be appreciated to upload a version with it (or simply just add into this workshop-file), I saw another submarine with 2 versions (with and without drone) but in the same workshop file.

@я насрал If you open the submarine in the editor you can make the changes locally and save it as a new version, I would recommend you put the hatch under the ladder near the armory, if you would like me to send you a .sub file with those changes let me know

wonderful submarine honestly especially with EK-options to add any crates or etc

playing with dynamic europe + barotraumatic

complexity and design of this submarine hits the spot like perfect

the only problem is - we cant move and sell wrecks (with other mod ofc) because there is no docking port on down side of submarine. Is it possible to add version with it?

@DreddLypso, I don't know if there is a guide for the decompressor, there might be a youtube video about it, and yes the only major change was the platform on the exit ladder being removed because it is no longer needed. If you want to swap them without decompressing, you can save a version of the sub in the editor and use debugdraw in the console to make it cost 1mk, then buy it in-game.

I've got a question, if I update this submarine in the middle of a game will this cause a problem to occur to any save file running it?

@MoanaGaming fixed I believe, the platform is there because, until a recent update, you could not fix/interact with things on ladders, so the only workaround was to put platforms under hatches so people could repair. I just removed the platform since it is no longer needed, thank you for pointing it out

theres an issue with ai egtting stuck on the top docking hatch ladder in an attempt to repair something, they get stuck on a platform between the ladder and they just stay there, might be another waypoint issue or the ai just doesnt know how a platform on a ladder works, the ai also gets stuck on the bottom ladder next to the fabrocators trying to fix an elecrical system near the top right of the ladder above the deconstructor, might also be a waypoint issue but ut could also probably me moved closer to the ladder or floor if that doesnt work

By the way I am by no means a veteran to this game as i picked it up a couple of days ago and have been addicted since. This sub caught my eye and the design is badass and the interior is badass and its taught me a lot like how to re wire things and how to fix issues like waypoints. Take everything I say with a grain of salt as I have no friends, play campaign, and am a noob. After I finish this campaign in the next 200 hours I will do it again with this sub in barotraumatic like the recommendation states. A great sub :)

I do think the price of the sub should be increased as with having more guns than any of the other subs you can get (and 2 of them being railguns) 27,999 feels cheap for all the gear you get + the uber murder kill design that is the actual sub. (Also i think the amount of oxygen masks, underwater scooters, and handheld sonars might be a little over kill for the amount of people that it is recommended for but that is just my opinion

A PSA to those who have oxygenite crystals or liquid oxygenite on board another submarine and plan to transfer items while switching the sub MAKE SURE you have them on you, as the author stated the storage devices have issues with placing items when you load into the sub so occasionally you can have all your oxygenite spawn outside of your crated onto the floor from a height that makes it explode and blow a hole straight through your sub. Again, just have any delicate explosives on you to prevent this from happening.

@cat gaming no worries it was actually a really simple fix with just moving the waypoints up, it might be the height of the hallways as the periscopes make you feel 5'11 contrasted to 6ft.

I have found out how to fix the issue. In the submarine editor move the closest waypoint that isnt linked to a door or over a loader closer to the persicope ( imoved mine into the periscope at the base of it and it worked fine) this lets the ai man any of the guns so long as a waypoint is close enough. Chalk this up to a stupid auto generated waypoint issue.

after spending a LONG TIME organizing all my gear into specific areas in the sub to get comfy I am just finding out that NONE of the ai can operate ANY of the guns and seem to have no clue what they are doing on the sub. If possible can you make it to where the ai has a brain on the sub?

@EaStount that is because a pet counts as a "Monster" to movement detectors for some reason, even though they are not monsters. Can't really help that and am hoping the devs will fix it in a coming update.

I almost forgot to mention another thing, the Intruder Siren system also counts "Pets" an intruder too. The only solution to this is to leave the pet behind or lock the siren to Off mode (which defeats the purpose of it existing in the first place)

@Tomoko open the submarine in the editor, edit the view to so you only see items, select all and scroll down to the "Connection Panel" area and toggle the 'Locked' checkbox, you can also select the lights and toggle the 'Non Interactible' checkbox at the top. Should be the easiest way to unlock everything. Feel free to DM me if you want me to show you / send an unlocked version.

the only thing I have problems with this, is that sometimes the AI Crew gets stuck near the Upper Airlock Access at the ladders because of some pathfinding problem probably, I'm not counting the fact I have to manually switch some switches to switch some guns because that's already my responsibility

@trash if you add 2 OR components to the docking hatch set state (the first being the original 2 inputs the hatch had, the second being the first OR component and the button/switch you want) the hatch should open, alternatively, the reactor is an isolated zone by design since its a big room, meaning that if it floods it will not drain anywhere, so you could have the two pumps do it instead. Feel free to DM me if you want me to show you how!

very cool sub! is there any way to manually control the docking hatch? im trying to make an overly complex and entirely unnecessary emergency reactor room flood button because i want to but im very bad at doing the things that make that dream a reality.

can say after about 6 hours of this, all it needs is a big ass siren. pretty good sub work
