I personally dont use genetics expanded due to not being interested in the mod
and then dragon descent for balance and other reasons

yeaa, I would really like a mechanoid hybrid dragon myself.

I think a paragon dragon would be a true dragon+ but the real appeal to creating a true dragon is the possibility to turn it into a mechanoid hybrid

For the dragon paragon, make them bigger and add 5 muticolored heads that each have a different type of breath attack, or make them platinum, much larger and have their breath attack deal true damage

this is a mod for Genetics Expanded, which allows you to extract genetic material from animals to create hybrid animals, the genetics have no other purpose. it is not related to the Biotech genes framework which was added later.

i think it would greatly benefit your download rate if you included any information about the mods or the genetics into the description

Great mod, but could you make it so that these hybrids don't spawn naturally?

I had a dragonrat and gastragon appear on my map with the animal transport pod crash.

Also while testing I had hybrids appear as the starting 'pet' that you get with the crashlanded scenario. One of those times it was a Thrumdragon

@Sean Unless it changed semi-recently, that's simply false. It's not color based, it's type based. All common dragons can breed with other common dragons no matter the color but only rare dragons can breed with other rare dragons. Even the eggs have a 50/50 chance to be either parents color. True dragon is one of the rare type dragons with three others I can't remember off the top of my head. If they aren't cross breeding properly and you know they are the correct types for both mother and father thats either a mod conflict or bug. Don't believe me? Go look at the dragons descent page. Pretty sure it's a mentioned feature there somewhere if I remember right

In Xenotype editor, if you scroll all the way down there are three genes that have no image textures, only "red X"

that's a question for Vanilla Genetics Expanded. I believe they are tier 2 genomes so you need a specific extractor for them?

darn, looks like that mod doesn't work with egg-laying species.

oh right. :P if you want them to interbreed, I'd have to see if it's possible to make a patch for that mod that allows interbreeding, but I don't know if you can easily add new categories there

I have a fame true dragon and male gold dragon, the true dragons egg never gets fertilized its been two years, do true dragons only mate with true dragons?
