So I see that Louize did an update for 1.5 over at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=3392407178

I would LOVE to see this Mod updated for V1.5 !

Why does it have a C-Sharp DLL file, though? Shouldn't it just be a plain Recipe?
AoQC: Little Newfie Gal 8 Jul, 2024 @ 10:54am
Indeed, please update! I love this mod!
Civ Mom 15 Jun, 2024 @ 1:37pm
This is an underappreciated QOL mod that I truly miss. Would love an update!

I beg and plead for a 1.5 version. This is a livesaver.
avml7 13 Apr, 2024 @ 8:19am
Love this mod it's essential as they all suck at cooking until they learn. I hope there is a 1.5 update :)

Is it possible to patch to work with medieval overhaul?
WilliamP98 21 Jun, 2023 @ 10:54am
I need this, because my colonists do not know how to cook well.
allbad 9 Jun, 2023 @ 10:30am
seriously, this should be vanilla
xXBulletJusticeXx 8 Jan, 2023 @ 11:07am
No x4 was a good move, thanks for making it make sense :D
Heart 🎕 28 Nov, 2022 @ 6:22am
No x4 variant, no download. Sorry.
denil380 27 Nov, 2022 @ 5:55am
Make sense. You can not produce much food if you learn how to cook. Only more qualified cook can cook more food at same time, not to mention healthy body because learning from experience of my ma have bad back.
Wallard 2 Nov, 2022 @ 4:54pm
It's about friggen time! Thank you!
Osseez 2 Nov, 2022 @ 10:33am
Great idea
Vattende 18 Oct, 2022 @ 5:06pm
Thank you so very much !
Vattende 15 Oct, 2022 @ 8:56pm
Very nice, i hope we will see a v. 1.4 update
huieders 24 Aug, 2022 @ 5:45am
Thank you for your prompt response. After re-subscribing, the text file is no longer generated.

It will be nice to be able to have a hot meal prepared by the remaining members of my colony themselves while the cook is on caravan.

@huieders My bad, I did leave it on.
huieders 23 Aug, 2022 @ 12:22am
Good idea! I love this mod.
However, when I have this mod enabled, it creates a "harmony.log.txt" on my desktop.
Maybe your mod uses Harmony and has a debug flag set in the initialization code.
Please turn off the debug settings in Harmony. Thank you.

This is practically exactly what I once wanted but with crafting. I always wanted a toggle button on bills or something to say whether the pawn should focus on speed, quality, or take a balanced approach. Balanced would be the default, speed focus would reduce the work required but also reduce the quality, and quality focus would increase the quality while increasing the work required.
han/nah 15 Aug, 2022 @ 1:15am
Can we get a 4x variant togglable in mod settings or something?
Bosh 11 Aug, 2022 @ 9:06pm
@Mute not with this mod!
Mute 11 Aug, 2022 @ 6:47am
@Lollri there's always a 0.1% chance of a given bill making poisoned food, however placing that poisoned food on an unpoisoned stack will make each meal in the stack roll a 10% food poisoning chance when consumed.
Rince 10 Aug, 2022 @ 10:44pm
@Lollri two words, paste dispencer
Momicchi 10 Aug, 2022 @ 6:03am
god's work. thank you.

@Deadly Passion Fruit If you wish, you can edit the XML file after download and edit Defs\RecipeDefs\Recipes_CookCarefully.xml to remove workSkillLearnFactor. I might add in-game options later but it's not a priority for me right now.
Rapturous 9 Aug, 2022 @ 12:20pm
Love this mod, could you add a toggle to remove the bonus experience from it though? I'd really like it to have more of a disadvantage for ignoring poison food. -or maybe a mood for like [-3 "wasted some food"] after failure would also be a great option. Thanks for the mod!
Teacyn 9 Aug, 2022 @ 7:49am
This is a great idea, makes it less of a death knell if your only cook suddenly gets 1-tapped and should reduce micromanaging heavily in early game.
RedPine 9 Aug, 2022 @ 6:42am
Thanks, this will remove a lot of early game micro/tedium.
KemonoAmigo 8 Aug, 2022 @ 6:15pm
This will be a godsend for new games, thank you.
