I wanted to inform you that 6.1 changed how the game reads mods and any mod with a capital letter causes a CTD on launch.

with this as its base value you can only do that per army say one army can only get 4 allied units in it but another army can get 4 more of an allied unit etc. its locked per army not per faction.

It’ll never need an update, but I will check it out in case I missed this one.

Literally every update since the beginning of time I’ve just added the version number to a random text file that has nothing to do with the mod.

Mods like these very very rarely require updates which is why a lot of modders don’t bother.

I do try to keep mine green just for the sake of being green.

There are other mods out there to go beyond 8. Someone already did that before I could. You can combine those mods with this mod. Depending on the load order you can pick a 12 increase mod and then still use the other features of mine.

Unfortunately it can’t be dynamic or I would have done that, so people can choose the number they want.

10/10 mod. Especially love the military alliance not breaking. I always avoided military alliances because they'd pull me into dumb stuff.

@Shiono_the_Shade I would assume it is because radious tweaks the same db tables as I do. This mod has never needed an update since I made it, but I did just update the txt file to keep it current when I played the game. Once I get back to warhammer I’ll update them all, but all of them never have needed any tweaks.

I don't know if it is just because of the Radious Modpack overhaul or the "out of date nature" of the mod but I seem to now only get the increase to 8 per army but no longer get the increase in the amount of Allegiance Points from Allied Factions of 4 so only 2 now.

Pushed a quick update that changed a few DB tables to prevent alliances from breaking exclusively to Military Alliances.

Basically if you refuse to join a defensive war or military war, you won't lose your entire alliance, outpost, and all your allied units.

Same if the AI does this to you, idk about you guys but I hate when the AI just refuses to join a war with a mutual enemy and I lose my entire life savings with them.

So now, this should never happen.

Still can happen on Defensive Alliances, because if you're defensive buddies and they refuse to defend you, are you really friends?

I just looking at the vassals' favour, so I thought it would only go up by 3.

Defensive and Military allies should be at 4 by default. Vassals and Master favour remains unchanged and one of those starts at 3. I found vassals you got enough favour once you've had them for a few turns, so I didn't bother changing it yet.

Other mods can overwrite any mod, so maybe you have another that does it secretly and sets it to 3.

One thing I'm curious about is that favour goes up by 3 per turn instead of 4, is this a mod issue or am I missing something?

It also affects the AI, and I could make a few versions of this mod for different values, but people have already done that so I lost the free real estate. It is as simple as modifying a text value basically so if you wanted to use 10 fro example you could clone my mod, or use a 10 mod but load his first. It should replace my 8 with 10 but you still get the other aspects of my mod.

Made an update to increase the ally favour points per turn from 2 to 4. I've played a lot of IE and 2 points per turn felt like it took forever, and some of the ally quests were not easy to do/remember. This should make it so that you might actually be able to use your allied units!

Glad you're making this a separate mod compared to the mercenaries one. I hate when modders bundle them because all you have to do to get ogre mercenaries instantly is to be in the right spot and have money. Getting allied units requires allegiance points, an outpost, and making friends with diplomacy, so it is much more rewarding and doesn't feel like cheating to increase the limit.

Updated to double the favour cap from 100 to 200, also making a mod to update the ogre mercenaries which will be compatible with this mod.
