Hello, i have seen your submarine on a public lobby and started to inspect your sub on the subeditor. from a logical perspective, it makes no sense to have a junction box power 2 batteries to power the 2nd junction box which powers the rest. the reactors also seems to show me im only able to power 2400 Kw.

a simple fix is just removing the 2 batteries and connecting the first junction box to the 2nd, aswell as changing the nuclear reactors "Max Power Output" at a minimum to 3000 or higher. I have yet tried to understand your design of choice with the power supply, but the batteries don't work as with the configuration as you expected to be, from my perspective, especially in the long run of a campaign. nice submarine though!

My friends are complaining about "why the reactor isnt working" and are refusing to accept the ship is wired in series with the batteries

Re: wires - we figured out it was caused by some wires we had that were bugged for whatever reason

Whenever we wire this sub the wires fall off after a short time. No wiring seems to stick. Is this a known issue?

Love the ship though there's a notable issue with the doors on it at the moment. as they're marked with "Picked requried: crew" (as opposed to the default idcard) which works fine for people playing vanilla, however people trying to play with modded jobs do not have access to the doors as they aren't always in the "crew" tag.

@Escrima normally when you start a new round the ID card will automatically modified by the spawn way points on your new ship, but for some reasons ppl start to tell me that this is not working properly, and I cannot explain.

@Marqe?.. I think this is because the spawn points failed to add the proper tag to your ID card after you switched to the new boat.

Latest update seems to have broken the sub for me, the railgun has been replaced with the new bigger one which only shoots the sub and is useless currently for me, is this only for me?

@Henriqueee you cannot, but you can give your idcard or any crew member's idcard to that guy so he can use those doors.

Ran into a latcher at 20% difficulty with 2 friends with this thing, some of the most chaotic fun i have ever had in this game, getting thrown from the navigation terminal straight into the rail gun area, 10/10

@dedaF fully update the generator and battery might help, but I designed this sub intentionally so the reactor could not support everything to run on maximum output, so I guess that won't help much.

sub is really cool, layout and all - was curious if anyone knows if my friends and I can do anything to gain a bit more power? seems like anytime we are full speed + firing guns we lose power; do we just need some gen upgrades? sorry if this is the wrong place; sub just feels very good with 4 people and we just wanna make it work

@Mohl no, all vanilla jobs get that tag. I personally played this ship for multiple rounds and I see no troubles with crew tags. But I never play mods so I don't know how would that influence current system.

@Doge the biologist Mudraptor's got most other tags on their cards (except crew), and when I took a look at my bots' tags, none of them were labelled with the crew tag either, only the captain, who's the only other player on the sub. I assume only players get the crew tag, and very specifically vanilla job-having ones at that.

Another thing I noted is that the default loction for the AI to go when you tell them to get aboard the ship is the airlock, and not the totally accessible room they have to pass through to get there while docked. So even if they can open the door, they'll complain about not being able to get back to the sub if the airlock's currently filled with water.

@Mohl All vanilla-job spawn point on the ship is giving a tag named "crew" (Prisoners and passengers excepted, so they cannot open doors freely), therefore there is a "crew" tag on their ID card which enable them to use doors. Mudraptor is not a vanilla-job spawn, so they don't have the crew-tagged ID card. But once they get a vanilla-job ID card they can move freely because the doors can detect the "crew" tag on them.

Took a look in the sub editor and I think I figured out the problem: All the doors on the sub have a picked requirement of "crew", not an ID card. The mudraptor job is unable to open any doors since that mod takes them off the crew list. Though, this still leaves some questions, as I was able to open sub doors while wearing the captain's ID card, and ONLY then.

Testing this with the playable mudraptor mod, and they're right, all of the doors are "unauthorized access".

@Opa Guck I assigned the main body (the 40K motion detectors and lights) of the radar to a special group of layer in the editor, you can copy it easily by hiding anything out of that group.

@JoeseCuervo19 according to previous updates fuel rods should not being consumed upon docking to a friendly station, and most hostile stations should not have positive power supply. If there were some mods that stops you from doing so, maybe you can try to rewire the power grid.

@dogethebiologist Meaning you didnt see it as a necessary feature?I was just curious because i was at a station and my fuel rod ran out and then the ships batteries were completely drained by the time i was ready to go. I find that slightly annoying especially so considering id have to wait for it to refill before leaving and spend the fuel. Its manageable but an unnecessary inconvenience IMO. This submarine would be 10/10 for me if that one problem was fixed.
