Great. Now if someone can start putting out some prototypical modern freight trains, be all set. There's one guy that was working it, but it's mostly props right now. The only working set he has he has set up as commuter trains, so they just run back and forth like a passenger train.

He said he's planning on releasing working freight trains, but haven't heard from him in a while.

Strategy Nerd had a signal pack made, but it had to be remade for RWY2 because of the clearance change, but I'll ask him again for signals see how close they're to release

Sounds good, cant wait.

Pere Marquette is a Chicago-Michigan train, I'm west of Chicago. I'm not surprised by the dual locomotives and AC's getting to it, thats a regional train and thats what they are for. That train often ran with what we call cabbage cars. Old F40ph's converted to baggage but the controls left in place for push pull regional trains.

I'm a bit surprised they are using superliners, though.

On a side note, the railroad signals you have in the Japanese railway prop set are nearly spot for for NA tri-light and searchlight signals. Even the little yellow signal breakers, if colored a dark brown, could be used for NA greasers and dragging equipment detectors.

If you can ever find the time to drag those out into a separate pack, they could be nice start to an expanded NA prop pack.

I made a modular pack of station buildings, which will be released later. As for train consist, it's from 'Pere Maquette' route from Chicago. It had 3 superliner with 2 genesis/charger

Oh, just to point out. In the Midwest the AC44 "midwest" is used for short regional trains, ei amfleets, horizon and eventually the venture cars. Superliners are not usually used on regional trains, although some "long distance" trains like the Texas Eagle can be only 3-5 cars long and use superliners. One of the Chicago-St. Louis trains used to use 2-4 superliners, also.

The ACL44 (the blue with red) is planned for long distance trains and is currently being tested on the Empire Builder...ei superliners. Maybe ventures eventually?
