yeah i followed the instruction and the iron dome wont deploy a single of its missile, it will however follow if i place a hostile unit neraby, but not the missile itself:steamthumbsdown:

it missed when i used a houthi missile. could be a bug, or you are just staying true to the real iron dome

i've noticed the iron dome system, in the eden editor. Would go after friendly drones. Spesifically from the Western Sahara DLC. it's difficult to use it, alongside the drones in it

Another issue i find while playing in the eden editor. Is that the AA missile batteries used by BLUFOR and Independent would still target each other's artillery shells and missiles/rockets. Even if i were to set them as allies

Also aces most recent update broke the iron dome as it replaced it with its own missiles. Dunno if there is a config in ace to change this other then manually inputting the correct ammunition.

Add a feature to disable the siren as its very loud and annoying, and more importantly, it's bugged, as the siren doesn't stop playing even after the iron dome has been deleted, only ending after some time, the siren should stop playing the moment missiles are no longer being intercepted.

@Dankan37 After allot of testing I've concluded its ONLY when I place Blufor drones it causes the launchers to bug

I've been having the exact same issue is Lilduggyda'humble, in single player editor/zeus, the launchers keep firing into the sky at nothing with no trigger or cause. Worked fine about 2 weeks ago, not sure if its the mod or some kind of update to another mod thats caused an issue. cheers

its just sit idle, shooting launcher only sometimes and with delay, and not hitting the targets at all.

@Dankan37 So they are placed in air base> single player> and no enemy or friendly air assets are causing it. The launchers just keep firing off into the sky and exploding by themselves nothing to trigger them.

I just tested this and i got movement from the opfor C-Ram after firing 10 cruise missles. You have to change the settings above but put the script above in the init.

[this, 7500, 2, [1100/3.6, 0, 4, true, 30, 3]] spawn IRON_DOME37_fnc_handleDome;

Does C-RAM also fires at cruise missiles and anti radiation missiles? Or only iron dome? I just checked changlog for C-ram, but can't find info about it

No, the interception logic (for the missile) is a standalone script that uses just math and logic, no other mods should interfere

I am actually working on the cruise missile, I added the ability to intercept UAVs and now will do them too

If you use the Iron Dome for cruise missiles they seem to fire late as they are pointing up. Those radars don't help much either. It works great on rockets and shells. Use the Spartan and that other launcher for cruise missiles. Now I use this addon for cruise missiles.

Yes unfortunately with the current setup there is no way to detect which side fired a shell to stop friendly fire, I was working on fixing another mod rn (CRAM) but the logic from that will surely carry onto this one

I unloaded all addons and just have yours. I fired 5 rockets from the M5 Sandstorm and your dome enganged them. :steamhappy:

Hi there love this mod idea. I am having some issues as weel however I still need to test it with no mods. I'm using ALIVE, RHS and Simplex Support Services and when I shoot a missles from the HIMARS the iron dome intercepts my friendly missle lol. Also I found when I start the map all the domes fire at nothing straight up and explode. They also certainly shoot at aircraft. I'll test it here with no mods. Keep up the good work!

The missiles intercept way less often now, I place 2 Iron Dome installations at the main Airport vs 1 Zamak MRLS at AAC Airfield and the Iron Domes will intercept only around 9-10 out of 12 missiles on average.

I dont know whether this was an intended feature or so im just reporting it here.

Any time I try to change the launchers their inits I get an error "Dome37 scripts functions/fn_handleDome.sqf not found"
