my dumb ass took like 15 minutes to figure out the button under the ice platform

I was stuck on the platform with the two buttons and the long jump, too.
If you look back to where you came from on the top level, you can see a hook switch that extends a bar from the lower platform which allows for easy crossing.
I hope this helps some people for current challenge road (February 2023) where this rift is featured.

I can't figure out how to get past the first section - the buttons don't seem to do anything and I can't clear the gap. Am I missing something?
