That may be due to the programming of the old one's army, don't think I can change that easily

Unfortunately that's just the way the Old One's Army AI works, I'd have to completely redo them to fix that (I think)

The invasion is entertaining, but it has some balancing problems. Bosses don't despawn from being far away especially Betsy and the Dark Mages. If the player dies or teleports back to their spawn points, Betsy will go and chase them all the way back to their home and potentially kill all the NPCs. Also the boss health bar will still be present.

Updated, spawn issues fixed, capped it at 2/3/5 minibosses per tier. also lowered the max # of mobs that could spawn since it could get wayyyyy too high

I am now playing summoner with post pumpkin moon, so the type of OOA is the post-golem one, I was having problem with various enemies loading simultaneously so my pc couldn't run it all, at start it was ok but by the wave 5+ my pc started dropping fps and at the wave 7 my terraria crashed lol, but, if you can fix this, this will be truly an exceptional QOL mod because everyone hates doing the standart OOA :steamhappy:

oh, I LIKE this idea. Always hated OOA, only doable for me in multiplayer because I hated using the traps and stuff (but I can't hold them all off on my own in a single player run). This sounds like it could change all that though, if I don't have a stupid fragile crystal to protect.

Bro i truly like this idea because it fixes the boring part of OOA, but please, add a limit for criatures spawned, my pc just couldn't load the 6 Ogres and 8 Dark Mages at the same time and it crashed, I think it would be good if it could have a maximum of 40 common creatures and just 2 bosses at the same time
