FYI, mod not compatible with "Less Weight Issues - Obese and Malnourished Tuned"
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2228750342&searchtext=weight

It becomes overwritten.

Thanks for adding this. Someone close to me was just diagnosed and I don't really want to see people dying of cancer in my game right now...

@Masterhand12 you are a heartless bastard, woe be upon you
Masterhand12 26 Aug, 2022 @ 10:24am
Guess we can expect a mod that gets rid of all "problematic" ailments eventually.
snerd 25 Aug, 2022 @ 11:24am
I was wondering, do you know if there's a similar mod for the "eating" based traits?
reqweim1 25 Aug, 2022 @ 1:58am
Very thoughtful of you! I won't use it but it's a great idea, people play games to forget about reality for a while so if I had cancer I wouldn't want to play a character with cancer.

Some Steam points for you via the awards system me thinks.

This is really nice, thank you Probito for making this :]

I won't be using this mod, but it's a beautiful idea and I'm really happy that this mod exists. Thank you.
JBird9003 23 Aug, 2022 @ 6:57pm
I am very sorry for your loss. Some people are just horrible and will never understand what the things they say really means. It is such a shame that for some people, this disconnect from reality will always lead to them saying hurtful things.
Banshee 23 Aug, 2022 @ 11:35am
I saw my wife die next to me from cancer. I can never understand when somebody in an online game tells another person 'get cancer and die'. They are fools, ignorant of the impact it has on life. Although I will not be using this mod, I can appreciate the effort.
PanelaRosa 22 Aug, 2022 @ 3:04pm
This is an amazing
laukins 21 Aug, 2022 @ 9:05am
@ajacksonian Well cancer was discovered and diagnosed by the ancient Greeks. So I would assume the same happened in the middle ages, too (but you're right it was probably missed a lot too)
ajacksonian 21 Aug, 2022 @ 8:36am
How many people in the middle ages actually were diagnosed with cancer? Often it was misdiagnosed and the cause of death was 'natural causes' or attributed to some other disease. So an upvote is in order.
常白 21 Aug, 2022 @ 4:33am
This is so heartwarming:beshaha:
chiefkwi 20 Aug, 2022 @ 11:28am
Thank you for making this. I am currently fighting cancer and I really didn't need to be diagnosed with that in game and die from it when it's supposed to be a fantasy role playing game.

I love mods like this. Something so simple yet means a lot.
biggie_boss 19 Aug, 2022 @ 9:03am
It would be cool to add a decision where you can start funding some sort of cancer treatments, obviously medieval based with herbs and natural medicine, and eventually be able to either treat or cure it.
The Gay Community 19 Aug, 2022 @ 7:50am
You're a nice person:steamthumbsup:
Fenragon 19 Aug, 2022 @ 4:57am
Great idea.
Not the mod for me, but I can endorse it seeing as my grandpa has cancer, my mom has had it and my aunt died from it.

A lot of people play games as a form of escapism so this is great :)

Interesting mod,I have an idea, why not make an event about cancer, so that more people can understand what like to be a cancer patient
