a game rule and/or decision to hide to ability to give people the traits by cheating would be good for people like me with no self control. just an idea though, thanks for the mod been following it for a long time.

No. You can just ignore the content that relates to the Lucky traits. Pretty sure you can just add and remove this mode from your savegame as long as you dont hand out lucky traits.

@Jeremy Lin I have only updated the version number, I didn't change any content. Theres a good chance that the mod should still work in the previous version. You might also be able to just change the version number in files back to 1.14.*

@Escaton @LNSS Thanks for motivating me to actually work on my mod. I've added the ability to activate or end the Conqueror event chain (and thus the Conqueror trait) for any eligible ruler, as well as add the ability to grant or remove the Scurge of the Gods modifier from Conquerors. I've also steamlined the character interactions a bit so all interactions are visible once you activate a new decision. I've removed the game rule that did the same thing. Additionally, I've implemented @Escaton's german localisation with a few adjustments. Dankeschön!!

Yes, you can give yourself "Extremely Lucky" when you enabled it in the game rules.

The ID for the regular lucky trait is lucky_character. The ID for the extremely lucky trait is very_lucky_character. You can check the files yourself by going to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2850432978. Hope this helps!

@LewisMandela2001 I think that an unlucky trait would only really benefit the player and thats not my goal for the mod. If you really hate a realm you could just do some intrigue or give powerful vassals and/or enemy realms the lucky trait which should weaken them naturally than straight up weakening their army.
Not sure about the death and pregancy part. I'll look into it for the next update, though I suspect that theres not a lot I can do without massivly changing these events.

@OrionOtter Sorry for not making that clear enough: Extremely Lucky can only be assigned manually if you have extreme luck enabled in the game rules under "grant Luck interaction". The trait will never be inherited or randomly assigned at game start.

How does extremely lucky generate? I have tried almost everything and I can't seem to get it to spawn in. (2 lucky characters having kids, giving luck to a son before dying, etc.)

@okto Ok thanks for clarifying. I'm not fond of the idea for the trait to stay within the family for generations. It would make them a little bit OP I think. So I'd prefer to turn the inheritance off. Also may I suggest instead of every century, why don't make it spawns whenever it reaches below, let say 5% or 10% based on the game rule we set.

@Kenn Currently no. You would have to assign them manually, meaning that with lucky inheritance disabled and no player meddling there will be no lucky characters left by the 900s, though it still gives the realms who had it a power boost.
I might add some additional options soon-ish where you can remove all lucky traits, assign them randomly again and potentially have them handed out at the start of every century or so.

@Riaman if you add an unlucky or cursed you can help what dynasty to come out on top. There could be other uses I think players could have for making a character unlucky or cursed in game play, that we would not think of.

Great mod, I'm using this right now to give historical dynasties and characters a slight edge within the game, especially when those dynasties generally fizzle out most of the time without making them overpowered. Good stuff!

I don't know why but this mod makes all the norse flags default to their christian alternatives in the 867 start
