It would work better as semi-transparent spectral candles that were colored green, blue, etc.

This works really well, but I wish the candleflame was animated.

You could do a Candle themed unusual but this one misses the mark. There's just too many candles that make it too cluttered not to mention the size of them.
Sorry but no

Unfortunately the candles really bring down this effect. The concept itself just doesn’t really work and I feel it could work better without them.

oh yeah, the candle particle is located in Team Fortress 2/tf/tf2_misc.vpk/particles/sparks.pcf::candle_light1/2 if you wanna use it.

good idea, the candle sprites themselves look good but i feel they are too large, perhaps reducing their size could make it look less like a mess.

also, there is an animated candle flame particle in the game most commonly used in maps, candle_light1 for a more speratic flame and candle_light2 for a more calm one, perhaps if you modified that one to fit in terms of color and size it could make the candles more interesting than just static sprites.

pretty cool none the less, id just like it a lot more with these changes.

I'd like this a lot without the candles. The particles are good but the candles are cluttery and there is way too many of them. Good concept though.
