Sorry for the delayed response but I tested this map and it works fine for me. You can try setting up some of the graphical options to lower values (though I doubt that’s the case) or crashing is not related to this map completely and is caused by something else.

Amazing mod, can tell alot of work has been put into this even by the small details like outside map scenery are just like from Genshin recreated perfectly, 9/10 from me, definetly one of the best SS4 mods.

Thank you ^^" Do you mean the doors to the dungeon in Jueyun Karst and doors to the Diyu Fortress side objective? In this case you need to hit the pillar with a fist symbol using a knife (for the Jueyun Karst doors) and light up 3 torches near the Diyu Fortress doors using a flamethrower to unlock them.

Great map. Although I can't progress. How do I open those purple doors at the end of the waypoints?
I understand from Netricia I have to active two pillars or something. But I don't know how, what and where.
I cheat-flied to the above level. But also there a purple door I had to reach as a secondary challenge. But won't open again, challenge failed.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

Увидел в видео одного человека, решил найти. Нашёл и прошёл. Карта офигенная!
Если будут ещё карты пройду! Я конечно конкретно не скажу, но иногда было сложновато( как например с боссом-кристаллом). Но это не проблема, так-как я играю на последней сложности.
Кстати, как идея сделать карту в виде Honkai:Star Rail? Просто идея.

I feel so sad I don't get such an amazing experience from original campaign of SS4... This map brought me those feelings i long forgot playing good Serious Sam maps, where the expolration and shooting are balanced so tight and smooth... As well as unusual landscapes the player must traverse. Thank You, catch a bag of points. Applause

- In the battle against Saggitarian Sidewinder (the giant iron snake), I prefer "Blossoms of Summer Night", which is Yoimiya's exclusive BGM. As we know Yoimiya is a master of firework. Shooting 5x rockets and scattering the iron snake into sparkling pieces is just like a wonder firework show!

Besides, I recommend to cut the Bgm to two parts at the time point of 48s, one as the battle BGM and the other as afterwards BGM, because from this time point on, the music turns into peace. So the player can watch the snake scattering into pieces in the peace BGM.

We need Barrett the sniper rifle for Ganyu~ Barrett is much better then Amos' Bow!!!

Super nice mod, I am working on serious difficulty and all chests and secrets feverishly.

I recommend to use following mods together, for players.
- [Genshin Impact] Paimon, The Emergency food (L.I.F.E.)
Eatable Paimon, in replace of L.I.F.E.
- Genshin Impact - Ganyu
Player model and voice lines. As we know Ganyu's master lives in Mt. Aocang.
- Better 3rd person camera view
We can have a better view of Ganyu's body shape and shooting experience in 3rd person camera.

About BGM, for the mod creater.
- In the battle against Cryo Hypostasis (in the scene of Diyu), I prefer "Qilin's Prance", which is Ganyu's exclusive BGM, (and this mod's Cryo Hypostasis has an attack method similar to Ganyu) .

Absolute banger, very cool! Never played Genshin myself but it's incredible how well the style translates to Serious Sam gameplay. The custom boss was especially cool :)

As a Genshin Impact and Serious Sam fan, I tried out this map and I was having a blast playing this. I was amazed by how much effort you put into this. Balanced and fun in terms of the gameplay. I haven't tried the updated version, but I'm willing to give it a try in my down time. Great work!

It amazes me to see how well you guys can use the mechanics of SS4 to generate high-quality entertainment (better than the folks at Croteam).

This map is an excellent example of good level design, usually exploration in Serious Sam is annoying, but in this case it's interesting and really compelled me to look for things (I'll play the map again trying to do 100% of it).

The battles are not too crazy, but they are all well balanced (maybe more on the easy side) and interesting.

Had a chance to play this updated version, I did a little personal customization and played using some rebalance changes from one of my mods. Once again, I really enjoyed this map, it gives me that feeling that I want out of a Sam level: a sense of fantasy and mystique. The gameplay can be a little basic much of the time, but some of the arenas/combat challenges are nonetheless engaging. I like the statue secret, too.

Probably my favorite Sam4 workshop level.

Nekorie я прошел новую обнову карты, где ты добавил возможность разбивать статуи жабуль, а самое главное мне порадовал новый секрет - это было очень круто и жоска, вот это я понимаю обнова, пусть и не выпустишь для Классики продолжение а только для этой, ведь Классическая "Обитель Адептов" - это твой первый опыт и труд в Сэме 4 это как к примеру Карнак или Паленке - Демо в TFE и TSE Сэмах, а Recarved версия это получается продолжительница и наследница Классики

Возможно, я сделаю когда-нибудь продолжение в виде небольшого уровня, но уже для этой версии, а не для классической. Жабки и секрет, связанный с ними, уже есть, кстати c; Но я, возможно, сделаю ещё один небольшой фикс, чтобы новый секрет был более интуитивным

Очень хочется XL2 Stinger в RM, он помощнее и применить бы местами заместо оригинальной Лазерки ради разнообразия, ну тут ты решишь, насчет больше врагов тоже подумаешь не заставляю и не требую, просто твоя Классик версия пободрее. Вот еще хотел спросить давно под Классик. версией, надумаешь сделать маппак продолжение этой карты или другое сделаешь? Мне кажется когда входим в Обитель, прям таки намекает на продолжение и мне кажется ты думаешь над тем стоит ли сделать продолжение - твое решение

Эй Nekorie у меня такая просьба сделать будущую обнову, можешь добавить Прыгунов встречая их статуи? Если уничтожая статуи\спавня из статуй или появления каким-то образом из логова прыгая с дерева например, сам ожидал их увидеть и полопать:), вот только любовался на ихними декорами что немного жаль, а также вернешь старых врагов как из Классик. версии или новых на замену их, чуть не забыл жаль что ты убрал снапу, хотя опустошителя хватает кайфовать от красот из прицела или вглядываться че вдали. В общем решишь, я просто просьбу подкидываю

Отличная версия от твоего Классич. AA, НО в конце не появились Хнумы и некоторых врагов как из Классики, не знаю кому как я с тремя справляюсь даже на Сэме, не используя Очки и модули к пухам не смотря на баланс, ибо Классика бодрее што-ли.
Также есть отличия от Классики, особенно порадовали пару расширенных локаций и новые секреты, еще обратил внимание на статуи... ПРЫГУНОВ.
Кста, в 1-ой побочке поразил меня босс, а вот при его малом ХП дерет жоще тока так, а еще Кристалломет на основе Лазерки XL2 Stinger - это вещь! P.S. добавишь в NSKuber's RM?

A small update: wind currents now work as bouncers (instead of force fields) so they're now more reliable and predictable to use, some optimization tweaks and some other small tweaks. If you want to play it now, I suggest you resubbing to the map itself and resources

это лучший мод, который только есть для SS4 (если не вообще для всех Сэмов). Я не получал такое удовольствие со времён Red Day. Хоть я равнодушен с Геншину, но этот саундтрек, эти боссы (особенно в доп. квесте) - это оргазм для любого любителя серии. Таких качественных, интересных и красивых боссов вы не увидите не в одной оригинальной части Сэма.
Моё уважение автору, ты слишком талантлив для этого коммьюнити.

I usually don't comment on workshop items but holy hell this map was amazing. Easily the most detailed and in-depth map I've ever seen in SS4 hands down. Not to mention all of the nods and references towards Genshin was a really nice treat too! Well done! 10/10 :bigups:

The only other complaint I have is that not all chests are tagged as secrets. I know it was probably done since most of them are just sitting in the open, but it really helped competitions like myself know for sure if you've found all the chests or not. Sure you have a treasure map now that shows where all the chests are, but it's not dynamic so you'll be spending a lot of time double checking and backtracking to make sure you've got all of them. Not a huge issue like the bouncers, but annoying for sure.

Either way, I'm really happy with this map and hope to see more good stuff in the future!

I finally got around to playing this and love most of the changes. The aesthetics are still pleasing to look at, the changes to how some of the chests and objective areas play out are great, and the map offers up a fair degree of challenge with its exploration and combat. However, there are two main issues I have with it.

First, the bouncers are totally glitched out and need to be reworked/replaced. Every time I've died in this map so far has been because of them. They'll shoot players up into the air in a random direction and you'll die from the insane amount of fall damage you'll take, I've only been able to successfully use bouncers in this map twice and usually just forego them altogether since they're such a liability and end up killing my run. Please fix these! They're a huge blemish on what's otherwise a fantastic map.

Side note, when I first tried to play the map it was near unplayable because loading a save would break everything and I also ran into some annoying camera glitches. But after I disabled some mods it fixed itself. I don't play with many game-altering mods, but there is probably at least one that for some reason breaks the map.

The more I played the map the better the visuals kept getting, and I was starting to get over the performance. For it to look that good and still run like it does is quite impressive. I saw the Easter Egg to one of your maps from Fusion. The fights themselves felt really good, not too difficult but just enough to feel very fun. I also like the music selection. I didn't get to use the XL2 very much since I didn't really see the need to waste its ammo. The underground section with the crystals now looks even better, and it feels very cozy, I would like to see more of that. Lastly it's sad about not having coop but you win some, you lose some. I can see how some things like the fast travel menu and accounting for players taking different paths can be a pain in the butt. Overall, amazing map.

These are some of my thoughts as I was playing through the map:

The map looks stunning. It runs worse than the original, but the fights aren't that hard so performance doesn't matter as much. Thus I think the extra visual details were very worth it. It was one of the best looking maps in the workshop already, and now it looks even better.

I have to highlight how smart the placement of pickups in the map is. I'm sure I would have missed so many secrets and paths had pills and shards not been placed near them.

The crystal elemental boss is one of the coolest bosses I've seen in a while; definitely a highlight of the map.

I'm happy that the map doesn't insta-kill you when you fall of the map like most maps do, I appreciated that.

The map that you pickup is a nice detail, though I wish it had more clues about the rest of the secrets. I ended up missing 2 secrets which I believe would have given me the 10 primogems I was missing.
