please listen to Gejnor, theres a literal dozen of towers after 1 turn of sieging makes the mod uselss. If you can also make it so it does give attrition after a few turns, I think i'd only be fair so the mod isn't too OP.

Other than that this is literally what we need to fix siege battles because without it I don't even get to fight them.

the siege tower spam im getting is awful but its nice actually getting some siege defences with full units so its still worth it in the end but man it makes the walls pointless

Mods can work for the current patch even when the launcher says its out of date. The description of a mod and the comments usually tell you if it works or not.
Also, yeah, siege attrition starting turn 1 is stupid af. The timer needs to come back.

Is this mod updated and good to go? Or does it need to be, some of my other mods say they are updated even they show out of date. Just curious, and thanks for this mod. I hate the thing CA did with attrition after one turn, it's stupid.

One problem I have noted with this mod is this can lead to infinite sieges/encirclement as the AI is waiting to starve the auto-resolve into their favor which never happens.

Always experienced the same siege tower creation problem in all of my campaigns, build cappacity is always at zero but equipement can be created infinitely

It shouldn't effect siege tower creation at all. Just sets the siege attrition value to zero.

Thank you very much. I hate this change they have made. The entire point of making fortified cities was that your defending army does not just start dying within the first few months.

You may have to pass an end turn if you are turning this mod on mid campaign. Also no this does not just delay siege attrition it turns it off all together. This was just a quick fix for me, I am working on making siege attrition more like WH2, but will take a bit more time.

do you still take attrition after a couple of turns like in the other 2 games, like you seige without attrition for 5-6 turns and then you run out of supplies which makes sense, i hate the new attrition from turn one but i dont want it gone completely?

The AI needing to attrition down defenders is dumb. I remember when *both* armies got attrition.

The reality is that the attacker should get attrition and then eventually the defender should get it too eventually.

Yes, this sets all besieged attrition to zero, so neither you or the ai can receive it. Seems fair to me

I agree that this is more a bandaid, but thats still better than nothing!
